I have a 99 grand Prix gtp with stock bose and my friend has the same car that he changed to alpine and my car sounds so much better then I put my 3 12" kickers and the 4 6x9s in the trunk and the 6 1/2" and 2" tweeder in the custom kick panels on driver and pass side all powered by a 5000w kicker amp and I blow everything out of the water but w/o subs bose is better by far

@xECKSx58 You should burn to CD music in FLAC format, or play with the original disc. Only then can compare the sound quality in car audio. I used to use a cassette adapter, but still the quality of the CD is much better, the sound is much deeper. System "BOSE" should have a CD player

Scirocco's are my favorite V-dubs next to the GTI, and this one will look nice whenever you get it painted (saw you say you were gonna paint it Viper red). Alpines do sound a lot better imo.
