Ahhhh....the only game that the AVGN didn't totally crush in between the 8-bit and 16-bit games! I never got to play it but how come Winston wasn't in the game?

Indeed it does. If it weren't for emulators I wouldn't have been able to play that great game. :) Love how they titled it "NEW Ghostbusters 2" it's like they knew the America version was crap.
Easely one of the best Ghostbusters-games ever. I cant really decide between this and the "New Ghostbusters II" for the european Nes and the famicom. In a lot of ways I guess that this one i superior, but it also gets minuspoints for.. well. It really doesnt "need" the Ghostbusters license, you know? It could be a random dude with a raygun or something, while The New Ghostbusters II was based on the movie. Well, sort of at least. Anyway, gret vid as always, looking forward to your next one!
That's interesting what it said in the copyright screen about this is a port of the original Activision game.
Obviously at some point Sega hated the idea and changed it completely. This is my favourite ever Ghostbusters game though.
Also my friend always said that the Japanese version had an extra item in the shop as there's an empty space in the Western version, I wonder if that is true, or some bug left in?
