  • watching this i'm like oh this ain't so bad then i saw monstro aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • got stuck on that when I was 7 at the whale bit.

  • we went on that ride and it broke down on us so we were stuck in there ... broke down twice not good :(

  • 1:56 Mona Lisa!?!?!? wth wat the heck?!?!?!?

  • does it only go through stuff not drops?

  • does it only go through stuff now drops?

  • I hate the whale:(

  • This ride scared the life out of me as a kid, towards the end when it looks like you're going to get eaten by a whale or something-- ughh. I still think about how badly that frightened me when I was younger.

  • @Cuteblondchick72

They should! I loooooove Pinocchio! AND Disney World! All I need at Disney World is MORE Pinocchio! <3 MORE! LITTLE WOODENHEAD, GO PLAY YOUR PART IN FLORIDA, TOO.

  • Subliminal pinnocchio at 1:40 !

  • creepy stuff XD

  • @xXDaPersonalXx lol yeah. Honestly, I enjoy these older rides. Ya know, like the figures are cardboard boxes lol. Mr. Toad, Snow White, Pinocchio....Well, not necessarily cardboard but the rides that came out back in the day when Disneyland first began. I think it's because they were the first ones that started it all, what made Disney what it is today.

  • @yonz2nugget yes your right XDDD

  • @yonz2nugget Yeah! I really like the new Ariel ride, but the props and animatronics are too clean and boring like toys. I really like the painted textures and lightning of the old ones as well. Also, the flow is not as seamless in Ariel's as these old ones are.

  • When I first went on this I wasn't expecting the whale AT ALL and when it came out I screamed.

  • Would it be scary if your bed room had ride cars passing through it every 10 seconds? Pinocchio doesn't seem to mind

  • @JetHawk LOL!

  • Pleasure Island....

    hmm

  • the ride is good but very scary

  • WDW >>> DL

  • this ride used to freak me out soo much

  • @hayleyd123x it still freaks me out, up ahead a heard a little boy screaming, then the train went through a door and then when the whale came it frightened the shit out of me.

  • my family must not have liked this ride very much because I don't remember it at all, I know I've been on it, but I guess not as much as everything else

  • When i was little i went on the ride and had my eyes shut the whole time :L

  • gracias por mostrar estos videos ya que para nosotros es imposible ir a disneylandia y con esto podemos vivir un poco nuestra fantasia gracias

  • @Misskayseeluvsu Sorry, they aren't. :(

  • @Benstudio13 I didn't think they would.

  • @DarkRideFan1990 Peter Pan is also pretty atmospheric and enticing

  • does anyone know that pinocchio was used to be my favourite classic and it is still my favourite classic today?

  • This ride never scared me. Snow White's Scary Adventures does D:

  • @Blu923the2nd me too, i dont understand what it is about the snow white ride that scared me as a child and still scares me as an adult! i dont know what it is..

  • The cage part was AWESOME!!

  • If kids pay attention on this ride, it is the scariest one at any Disney park.

  • at 1:30 it gave me the shivers

  • W PINOCCHIO!!

    DISNEY 4EVER!!

  • The first time i went on.. when we were right infront of the big jack in the box... like my brother jumped out a touched something... and like we had to walk backk to the beginging. we never finished it,.

  • this ride really scares me!

  • @sarahloyhihi

it could have been worse there could have been a section in the tavern where the coachman gives the riders his evil smile when he says the line: They Never Come Back...as BOYS!!

  • This ride hasn't changed much in 10 years.

  • y cuidar los pequeños

  • My sister and I have a confession . . . we love you . . . will you marry us?

Thank you so much for posting these videos. :)

  • @missyrox394 Sure i will, haha.

  • I liked the way you filmed the entrance. It was short and we got to see more of the ride, without missing the queue. If you film while you exit the ride, the video may be more complete. Overall, I liked this video.

  • ifind it funny how at the en d of the ride pinnochio is still wodden, he didnt turn in to a real boy

  • oh goodness when the fairy disappeared i was tripping i was just like, "WHAT THE FU-- SHE FREAKIN'' DISPPEARED!!" like a little kid hahaha

  • i used to fucken love this ride wen i was small i would go crazy for it

  • Thumbs Up, I will be Bad Pete for minimum wage!

  • That was longer than I remembered. It's interesting they play the Pirates of the Caribbean theme. lol

  • i always wonder why they put this in fantasyland with all the little kids its obvious why it never has a line its so scary

  • lmfao " Pleasure Island" XD

  • wow so many memories as a wee little tike.. i remember being scared of the whale but i didnt scream or anything i jus kept it in an closed my eyes

  • I'm thirteen, this year I went to the ride. The only comic relief was the end and Jimmy the Cricket. Even though Lampwick cursed in here, it still scared me like crap.

  • Did u use night vision? My camera took all of this ride way too dark

  • I recommend smokin a blunt b4 you get on this ride lol...

  • it was trippy loi

  • when i was little i used to go with my dad to disneyland and go on this ride over and over and over...i still go on with my friends :D

  • in tokyo disney resort, do they speak japenese on this ride?

  • @peachbears8679 I think so.

  • Luv that ride

  • I rode this for the first time when I was 4 and cried so much. Went on it again at 14....still creeped out. This ride and Mr.Toad got me real bad when I was younger.

  • Thumbs up if you wish you could live in disneyland!

  • @loopylilly14 lol its true i do want to live in disney

  • @loopylilly14 omg yesss!!!! except the constant sound of childrens music would annoy me OH WELL!!!!

  • @loopylilly14 well it would be sort of scary alone

  • @loopylilly14 i wish i could own disneyland so i can go in for free ....Ü

  • i get so sared on the little kids rides in that place like snow girl

  • Dark rides always have and always will scare the crap out of me. I'm 14 and I'm going back to Disneyland in a month. I want to ride this so badly, but I'm not gonna lie, I'm already scared shitless. Same thing with the Snow White ride. That ride still gives me nightmares - no joke.

  • LOL whats the Mona Lisa doing there ahaha 1:56

  • I love the Pinocchio attraction. I never found it to be scary though, even when I was 4 years old because everything that happens in the attraction, happens within the cartoon as well. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride on the other hand. It took me years to climb back into the driver's seat with everyone's favorite amphibian.

  • can someone tell me where this ride is? which park is it, or resort?

  • @TheNightcloudHATER

Disneyland Park - Disneyland Resort California, Anaheim, US

    or French version at

Disneyland Park Paris - Disneyland Resort Paris, France

  • whale!! BEEG as if saying BEEG BIG!

  • this ride...scared me sooo much as a lil kid it was untrue!!!!

  • This is the freakiest, scariest, most terrifying ride I've ever been or will ever go on. Seriously, this nightmare almost scared me away from Disneyland forever. Thank The Maker for Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Who knew getting sent to Hell was less terrifying than Pleasure Island?

  • @Carnagefan13 mr. toads ride scared me so much my dad was laughing and it made me feel bad

  • Does ne1 know if they have this ride in disneyland paris???

  • The last time I went on this ride was in 1994. The whale scared the hell out of me. I haven't been on the ride since.

  • These rides remind me of good times when I was small in Disneyland, in 17 but I love this place and everyone should :D

  • i didn tsee the movie yet when i went on th ride for the first time, so i just thought some guy on crack decided to build a random ride. And also, after the fairy dissapears at the last room, after you pass it, look behind you andyou'll see a glass figure of her hidden behind a wall that is only vissiblewhen youalready pass the room. Disney land is more magical when you figure out all the illusions. :)

  • my first time on this i was 7. my dad took me and i loved the movie so i thought it wasnt going to be so scary but let me tell you! omg that whale scared the crap out of me!! lol they should make a lion king ride! i love that movie that is my most favorite childhood movie ever!! i never get tired of watching it! anyways i love AND hate this ride! :-)

  • When i was a kid my dad would always make sit on the side where the whale came out! This ride and Snow White's Scary Adventures scared the hell out of me!

  • hehe pleasure island haha

  • @SarahbffCristina hehe...

  • one of my favorite rides. know what would be cool, if there was a sleeping beauty ride..now that would be wicked xD

  • the whale scared me when i went on :0

  • Monstro scares me everytime. It seems so real.

  • @MsDisneyExpert he scares me to iwood get scard of him when i saw the movie have you done the buzzlyght year ride write back your friend generalhawk1 the snowwhite ride is coolto

  • I both loved and hated this ride. Imagine the ride breaking down and getting stuck next to that giant jack-in-a-box thing at 1:27...

  • this ride still sorta kinda scares me. scared the shit out of me when i was 5 though

  • this is a creepy kids ride

  • i love the movie b.t.w jiminy says jackass!

  • I rode this ride alone, and got scared half to death by Monstro..Prolly because of the size and the lighting and noise is why it scares most people, even me.

  • is this like winnie the pooh? Never been here

  • Do you mean is it like the Winnie the Pooh ride video that infamouse also posted? If so, it's the same kind of kittie ride where you just sit and go through the main plot of the movie : ]

  • Awesome ride

  • why does monstro scare everyone haha

    it scared my mom too

does anyone have any updates on this ride since it got closed

  • i love this ride

  • It scared me too when monstro came out

  • This Ride Always Scares The Crap Out Of Me...I Aways Need To Go To The Bathroom After I ride it0_0

  • i was always so scared of pinnochio because i thought i was gonna turn into a donkey or somethin.. now i just jaugh at the name PLEASURE island

  • omg dis ride is really creeeepy.. O-o

    lol

  • lol, my cousin went on this ride with my sisters when they were all 9 or something, and he was screaming the whole way! Not trying to be mean or anything, but I wish I would have joined them just to see my cousin's freaked out face! lol!

  • OMG THE WHALE.

  • the ride was fun back in2007 i miss disneyland.

  • HEEH HAAH HEEH HAAH

  • i dont recall ever being on this ride when I was a kid back in the early 1990s

  • I went quite recently in Paris, and it's still the same :) I found Monstro the whale quite frightening!

  • This ride is not worth the wait in line. I'm glad I didn't go on it. However I did watch the movie in Italiana.

  • I peed my pants on this ride and didn't have any spare clothes so I had to walk around in my pee pants all day.

  • Pleasure Island looks freaky. I wouldn't go there if you paid me a million dollars. Apart from the fact that it turns people into donkeys, it's scary and it encourages kids to drink and smoke.

  • Um...I think being turned into a donkey and sold to a salt mine would be a pretty major deterrent :)

  • i hate this ride!!! it's scary!!! haha

  • I have never been on that ride in years, so IDK if it really changed or not.

  • horay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ive wanted to go to disneyland since i was 5, im now 15, and i still have never been

  • I've never been ethier. But we go to DisneyWorld every year though, we're leaving to go on this year's trip Saturday.

  • You beg, and you beg and you beg some more until your parents finally give in lol-thats what I did-LOL!

  • Disneyland dark rides seem very fridening. X-{

Monstro is terrifying! If I was on that I'd be dropping a lot of F-bombs out of being startled...and upsetting the parents, LOL.

  • the whale freaked me out aswell lol

  • Monstro the whale always freaked me out as a kid lol

  • I freaked on that ride

  • ya...i agree w/ you all. this ride creeped me out when i was young too.

  • *traumatised* Oh, wow. The repeated cries of "I wanna go home!" are the worst to me.

  • This ride scared me. It wa horrible.

  • Cute Ride! BUT the whale gets me and my best friend EVERY time!

  • now they redoing it i wanted to go on

  • lol...ACEOFTHEMSPADES...nd i dint noe pinochio had a ride at disneyland is it new?

  • my cousin touched everything she could in this ride lol

  • haha subliminal message 1:38 haha

  • I have always found something profoundly disturbing about Pinnochio. I think it's my strange adversion to puppets. This ride was well-done, because it shows just how dark and sinister a Disney movie can be when looked at through a certain perspective.

  • well disney's gone soft i can appreciate the classic movies for their take on reality and the fact that they actually teach important lessons.

but yea...the whole turning into donkeys if u drink and smoke thing...and having ur nose grow when u lie..weird

  • I think the turning into donkeys was kind of a play on words. Jackass is another word for donkey. Smoking and drinking makes you act like a jackass, or in that case "turns you into" a jackass.

  • hmm well that makes sense to me

  • COOL!

  • i've been watching to many disneyland videos! [i want to go now]

  • It is closed for refurbishments

  • I went there when I was six and I do not remember this...strange..Going again *really* soon and I'm gonna check this out for sure

  • hi javier and jessica

  • i really wanna go disneyland!!!!! ;(

  • Thanks for posting I love this ride

My favorite disney film and favorite ride at Disneyland. My family and I went for my birthday in January. Later after the ride my younger brother who was in the Army and fought in Iraq says to us, "yeah..that Pinocchio ride was kinda scary" Funny stuff.

  • I love this ride!!! Except I really don't understand why hes still a puppet at the end instead of a real boy...notice his legs, they are still wooden O_o Its a funny thing to point out.

  • i was afraid of dolls cause i thought at night time there eyes would move and come to life!!!

  • When i was young, i was afraid of Snow white and Pinocchio attractions lol

  • You were? When I was your age, I was afraid of the witch that wants to hurt Snow White with a poisoned apple. Today, I'm NOT afraid of that witch. My dad and I said "Whoa" when the EVIL Queen changed into the witch.

  • why are most of the dark rides kinda scary? in this one you get locked into a cage and turned into a donkey! ahhhhh!

  • Most of the stories these movies were based on were very dark to begin with.

  • Because they're not called 'dark' for nothing.

  • Well, considering really how small this show building is and the budget for this attraction, they really did a Fantastic job. All the dark rides are great!

  • disneyland is the greatest place to be i love it and pinnochios ride is mi favorite

  • Mine, too! What do you like about the Pinocchio ride? Who is your favorite character from Pinocchio? Mine is the Blue Fairy.

  • This ride is my favorite too! i love the lampwick hologram in the ride, my favorite characters are Foulfellow, Gideon, The Coachmen and Lampwick

  • That looks...kinda creepy 0_o

  • WOW!! YOU WENT ON MY BIRTHDAY!! December 15!!!

  • This ride scared the shit out of me more than Phantom Manor and Tower of Terror put together!

  • haha how can it scare you more then the Tower?? lol the tower your flying up and down sooo fast!!! I never understood how these black light scenery rides scare people?

  • This ride scares me. x.x I haven't been on it since I was a kid, and for good reason. It will come back and haunt me in my nightmares.

  • This is my favorite ride at Disneyland Resort!! I am a 18 year old, and if this is my favorite ride, that MUST be saying something. I think the ride was done very very well, and its the only ride where you can see my favorite Disney Characters Honest John and Gideon! The music at the Pleasure Island part is awesome too!

  • This is a great tide!! i can see why it is your favorite, its awesome and not all over in one second like peter pan.

  • haha just all of those dark rides are fantastic. People who dismiss them as mere "little kids rides" are missing out on great works of art, the combination of visuals, storytelling, and audio is perfect in these rides.

  • Remember Disneyland was made for everybody and every age so...

  • What did I say? lol regardless of that, I love anything Disney and Disneyland!! lol i went for my 20th birthday and it was amazing (yes 20th seems to make everyone think its way old for disney, and yes we went on all of the black-light story /fantasy land rides but i will always have a child's heart and point of view!!!! lol im a guy also.

  • I understand want you mean in 2 years at WDW and i will be 14(O.K. i am 12) and i love Disney parks.

  • Yeah how great to to know there are people who still appreciate it!!
