Also, women over a certain age are more likely to have kids with downs. so maybe putting a cap on the age people can have kids would be good. You also have to consider the fact that people with DS CAN have kids. i KNOW someone with DS that has a kid. he has had problems, they have cost the tax payer, and he is a cunt cause he had no one to raise him properly. Also, people with DS are prone to other genetic illness

I'm glad I don't rely on my instincts to just up and punch people no matter what. I am glad I can control my anger, and frustration to NOT punch out a person with the same mental capabilities as a 4 year old, the same age as the actual kid in this video.
In a situation like that, you might not even know that the older guy is mentally disabled. Take it from the father's point of view. Someone kicked his kid, so he took immediate action to protect the kid. What if the mentally disabled guy kept attacking because you didn't take action? Don't say he would have stopped, he's THAT unpredictable considering his mental status. Don't say shooing him or your kid away would have worked, either. You can't predict a stranger.

I actually kind of admire the dad for the protective behaviour he shows. In that split second, it's not possible for him to realize that the attacker has down's syndrome.
