  • Hmm, looks a bit jittery, would that be possible to fix?

  • @ThermalOverload yes, it was the first flight with standard settings. Later on it flew more smooth .. crashed several times though and the wooden frame ended up in the fire place ;-)

  • Cool Vid Man ..

  • I have a question for you. 1) Do you have any servos how do you steer? 2) i want more stability, meaning i should get lower rpm engines and ,10 inch blades? 3) Is flymentor gyro needed to stability? Please get back to me i really need ur help. Thanks

  • @pygame

    1) steering is being done by changing the revs of the individual motors (no servo's)

    2) try to use motors between 750kv and 1000kv with 10"to 12"props

    3) you will need a 3axle gyro from KK, Hobbyking, FY90Q etc

  • hi so whats the payload ? and flying time /

    grtzz pierrre

  • @poerik

These motors deliver approx 400grams each with these props = 1.6kg. The quadcopter weights 850 grams so it could pull 750 grams max .. theoretically that is.

  • @burghoorn

    thksss

  • Do you have this music cranking out of a PA at the flying field?

  • now that you've been flying this for a month or so, are you able to hover it in one place easily? hands off? i'm interested in using one of these for videoing large equipment. i would need a stable, smooth, slow movement up and around approx 10-20 foot high equipment. thanks for the help.

  • @taurustbolt

Yes, this is possible (but not hands off)

    Check your mail ..

  • Hey kerel, Thats looking good. What is it,.... a couple of heli`s glued up together or what? hehe, very nice creation :D Btw, back in Holland?

  • I was just putting together a parts list for this frame. How do you like these motors? Could it handle more weight or not?

  • @NKMNFT Yes, these motors are good. I like the dismountable base plate for easy installation. They are rated for 9"and 10"props. I used 8" 3-blades and that is enough. They rev-up somewhat faster at descend-breaking. Yes, they can handle more weight. I will try 9"and 10" later.
