Tom Baker was my doctor. Guess I'm getting old. I miss the old tardis with the sensible high tech if quirky technology. With the new series the Doctor's technology and abilities behave more like magic than technology. It's moved from being great science fiction to straight fantasy. Still it's a great show.

The technology is almost available where they could make new shows with the same (but digitized) actors. I'd love to see new episodes of classic star trek too.
