I've never understood the mania around In-N-Out Burger. Their food isn't that great. Five Guys Burgers (new to us here in Southern California) is sooo much better, but pricey.

The first time I knew In n Out was a really good hamburger/hamburger joint was when I heard Warren Beatty say on The Tonight Show several years ago, to Jay Leno, that he had had an In n Out burger before coming to the interview and how much he liked In n Out burgers.

They knocked down the original In N Out building earlier this year (April 2011). So this episode is probably one of the last documents of it.

(BTW, the original, original In N Out building in Baldwin Park was long ago demolished when the 10 freeway was constructed. The truly original location is now occupied by the freeway)

One of my visits to California, I was taken to this joint. It was 10 years ago, but I remember the burst of cheese flavor, awesome meat and best if all THE PERFECTLY GRILLED BUN! 10/10 from me :)

But stores such as those in Utah have different state laws requiring all fast food employees to wear gloves at all times. California does not have such laws. However INO policies have employees try to wash hands about every 15 mins to ensure cleanliness. Plus gloves are just as dirty as hands if not changed or washed just as frequent.

Got home- refrigerated the veggys and froze the meat/cheese...
