  • I can't believe she said that it was her job to change peoples opinions! How dare she! My opinion differs greatly from hers and I do not want to change it and I believe that any Christian child or parent or teacher in her school would feel the same way I do, so I'm saying that if anyones opinion needs changing it's hers in terms of learning it's not her job to change anyones opinion!

  • As a former SNS pupil (class of 2006), I have nothing but praise for Ms. Barnes and this initiative. One of my biggest gripes with discipline while I was there was the extent to which homophobia was tolerated by most members of staff - even those who were homosexual (naming no names).

    So, again, well done Elly Barnes. You were ever so-slightly intimidating when I was a secondary student, but you're bringing about a real reform in attitudes now.
