@lolvids2 dslr cameras have interchangeable lenses,

these have mounts that you can put wide angle lesnes ontop of the existing lens

and this camera can not record in 1080p on the sd card,

only on minidv tape

@pranxter08 I'd use the view finder, but my Sony SR-35 doesn't have one, but I'd use it a bit but mostly use the screen, you can hold the camera a little better and rest it sort of on your face with the view finder so it wont be as shakey.

its a GREAT camera. but it kinda feels like a toy sometimes. i would jusr spend the extra $1,300 and get the FX-1000, that way you can film in 24p and it has a better low light capture, 1lux (fx-1000) insted of the 4lux (fx7) fx-1000 does great for dark garages and parking lots if your trying to film bikes or boards =D

it only comes with a usb port which is only for downloading photos and stuff.  If you plan on puting videos up on youtube or to a video editor you NEED a firewire cable
