I agree that oil being traded in USD is one thing proping up the dollar. However I have seen reports that indicate that the US produces enough oil domestically to cover it's own needs. However we send so much of our oil to Israel and Japan, that we have to import the balance from foreign countries. On, China, they have already stopped buying treasury bonds and recently sold $31 billion worth. They are intentionally supressing their currency so they have a favorable trade balance.

Hmm, idiot huh? Well, at the time of the first intifada, LESS than 20% of Palestinians were actually born in Palestine. The majority were born and then kicked out of adjoining countries like Jordan, Syria, etc. But who gets the blame for oppression them? Yes, Israel. Gold is currently trading at 1087 USD and continuing to drop. My guess is that the dollar has strengthened a bit against the Euro. Countries like Greece and Ireland want out of the EU and the right to walk away from there debts. Since Celente is heavily vested in Gold you think this would be a concern to him. Im not sure if this current increase in the dollars worth is temporary or not but if the Euro collapses all other currencies will follow. With so many fiat dollars chasing too few goods.
