I dunno, im not a mexican or whatever, but this dude seems just like one of those white dudes with a confused identity, trying to be mexican amongst the mexicans, and buying all this stupid crap, basically he's a lost soul chasing a magic dragon. most of his statements don't add up when you simply listen to what he is saying in combination with what you see.
Good documentary!.....but this guy is pretty rude. I don't like how he was treating juan in 2/10 video. The man did him a favor by getting the fucken beers and he thanks him with stupid ass comments? Fuck this motherfucker. I didn't find it funny....good vid tho
@TheCompton1963 When he deals with Juan in that part he is playing to be "Hernan Cortez", he is being sarcastic and reenacting the way Spaniards saw and dealt with the natives of that part in Mexico, that is why he even changes his English accent for a Spanish accent
@TheCompton1963 He was just reenacting how Spanish would treat the Natives. He loves Mexico he has lived there for more than 15 years. Did you see the first video of this documentary?
Great stuff, I enjoyed it no end! It proves the point that the dead aren't dead, and that Moctezuma, the Aztecs and Cortés still reverberate and will continue to reverberate in the future. Good on DBC Pierre; he's put together a great documentary with all due respect to a civilization that was never given the credit, study and attention it rightufully deserves.
We Mexicans, specially the ones studying abroad, should learn more about our heritage and be proud, specially as Pierre pointed out, the Aztec civilization doesnt get as much credit as other ones do.
Men that guy is right I'm very proud, lucky n bless to be from mexico n have the AZTEC blood flooing through my viens it makes me feel so great n like beyond I can't find the best words to describe it but I'm very proud to be MEXICAN!!!!

What a documentary! I hope those of you who don´t speak English would understand it. Your heart would want to jump out of your chest full of pride.

DBC has a real passion for Mexico. Adds lots of flavour to the doco.
Btw, DBC, keep up the good work. You've some more fame to accrue. My signed copy of Vernon God Little still isnt worth what you said it would be.
