Kid and Play never get the proper respect they deserve. They were the first hip hop artist in the movies, and they had music all age groups could enjoy. Love them!!
@chazmizzle During when this came out gang activity was higher than what it is now, Late 80's to early 90's was pretty intense, that's why this song is called Ain't gonna hurt nobody due to the fact to much crime was going on at the time...
@chazmizzle oh shut up !! im getting tired of all the ...back then it was like this and today its like this comments....back then niggas were thuggin too..in fact crime was way worse...thats why the hardcore shit got into the music..so shut up!
This was literally the second rap/rnb song I ever heard (first was House Party by Full Force) and yes, I STILL freaking love it. Aaaah, 90s oldschool...
this music vid came out in 91 HP2 era, kid has his dreads? but class act came out 92 he has the high-top back, you got'a cut dreads out.Same as play,he has a a crew cut in this and in the beginning of class act he as dreads long as kid's.Ain't no way in hell these two niggas hair grew that fast and long in no one year I'm confused as fuck. :-/

Good clean hip hop. No bitches, no bling,no cars. Its just about having a good time at a party. I wounder if non gangster music can get played on the radio.
Funny how Martin Lawrence was their sidekick/ height man in the House Party films, only to end up surpassing both of them while they faded into obscurity...
