  • I can't tell you all much about the manifold as it was already on the engine. The seals in the TO3 turbo are carbon and never gave me any issue's with the fuel from the Weber. Fuel economy was not an issue either as it used about 1 liter per kilometre when driven in anger on the track. The car now races in Adelaide SA minus the turbo setup.

  • SD-series exhaust manifold? - they will not bolt up. there were no L20B diesels. the manifold can be made of stainless tubing, or of a mild, cast steel tube and cast steel elbows (weld-els). this is no job for a beginning welder- the smallest mistakes can turn into cracks/failures. ....Y-pipe blowing into the SSS intake manifold (flows well/water-cooled). i would think a small 4-barrel carb could provide a rich secondary mixture and more driveability for a turbo street car. i'll try it...

  • so sweet. that turbo looks so good sitting next to that motor

  • i want one lol

  • nice car mate , coudl someone answer my question?

how much would a set of twin webbers cost

and do you need to take the engine out of the car to fit a turbo on

  • @jakelamotta1990

Twin Webbers could cost you anywere between $600 to $1500 depending on if you buy new, used, or rebuild. And no you dont need to take out the engine to put the turbo setup on it, there should be plenty of room once you remove all the emissions crap.

  • where can i get one of those manifolts coz i have the same motor in my 180b

  • @tix6789

Im sure the intake manifold might of been fabricated, and the exhaust manifold as well. The L20B has a diesel version that had a turbo, you can use that manifold for the L20B at least.

  • Nice neat car. What sort of hp is it producing? Looks like fairly low boost on other vids?

  • 185hp @ the wheels on 12.5psi

  • wat sort of turbo did u use/ did u hav any problems with petrol wrecking turbo seals??

  • @hurrypooswe

im sure he used cork seals or something like cardboard / paper seals like in carbs.
