I actually heard that kipor engines are way better than punsun ones. So far I've not once read about severe punsun crank failures on dieselbike. net, and none of such complaints about kipors... maybe they're just not so widely used, but still...
engine is good from harley no question. but all have that engine. effictive is it. normal i need with benzin 7-9 liter with diesel 2-3 liter saladöl. and price of engine is cheaper than orginal engine.
the work is fun to create something new.
so is cheaper to drive an dieselharley than benzin harley. and its more fun, sure.
Are you serious?? A diesel is more economical on consumption than a regular duh fuck a gas engine motorcycle there needs to be more diesel sipping bikes on the road
Beautiful bike! I think diesel biking is the way forward. Unfortunately a big problem for a non biker wanting to to start diesel biking in the UK is the power is so low for the engine size despite the incredible fuel economy. The UK government restricts bikes by engine size as well as power based on petrol performance for learner bikes so anyone wanting to run on veggie-oil isn't playing on a level field. I've set up a petition about it if anyone's interested - see the link on my profile!
H, Which is the better install, the punsun or kipor? I have a FL frame and I'm thinking about using the punsun. The rubber glide frames look like a good choice: easy bracketry and rubber isolated.
the kipor has an better gas control for vehicle, punsun only for generator. so punsun smokes a lot. kipor has an screw for adjust the constant diesel mix. and of course an very goo gas control.
i made one punsun harley. fxr. runs good. but better looking is the kipor engine.
I've seen your fxr on dieselkrad. Good construction pictures. You've also built 'little' enfield-type dieselbikes! Interesting info on the punsun v. kipor. 2.8L/100km works out to about 83mpg. Great bikes!

both have the same power. easier to fix is the
punsun because there is no water cool system.
the kipor has an better gas control for vehicle, punsun only for generator. so punsun smokes a lot. kipor has an screw for adjust the constant diesel mix. and of course an very goo gas control.
