Just because your not a Sikhs and you don't understand the many things written and passed on for years, it doesn't give you the right to say shit like. Even common books will live forever but people will die. While the gurus teachings live on and books stay in the library, people just pass away. These teachings are important, which is why they are preserved for the future to learn from!

Across Punjab the Indian Army attacked 42 to 74 Gurdwaras resulting in high casualties at Moga, Mukatsar, Faridkot, Patiala, Ropar and Chowk Mehta. The exact number of Sikhs killed are not know but 257 people were shot and killed during the storming of just a single Gurdwara in the operation, Gurdwara Dukhniwaran Sahib in Patiala.

@kkpanjaje.. It is true that Sant Ji stayed above the Akal Takht Sahib but look back at the history.. Many of Sikh Leaders had stayed there whenever needed. Master Tara Singh is the biggest and common example to what you asked. He even stayed there before 1947.

Sounds so convincing but eye witnesses oppose what he says. There were no pre warnings to the pilgrims on the day of the storming of the Golden Temple. People who were there to pray were shot at by Brars troops. There were a rain of bullet marks on the outside of the Harmindar Sahib showing it was shot at with disregard. The troops entered the Harmindar Sahib with full army gear including their shoes and rifles in hand shooting everywhere innocent women and children were also shot at.
Everybody was wrong. Attacking the Golden temple was the biggest mistake the indian Government every made. @akkifans well let me tell you this Guru Gobind Singh kept muskets,rifles,cannons (as in bombs those days) too in Gurudwara's. Ranjit Singh had guards bearing rifles in Gurudwara's and Nihangs started carrying their rifles in gurdwara's ever since they were created lol. And the average Sikh who is against Bhindranwale doesnt use the weapon stuff as an excuse against him...only non-sikhs do who are not aware of its history.

Across Punjab the Indian Army attacked 42 to 74 Gurdwaras resulting in high casualties at Moga, Mukatsar, Faridkot, Patiala, Ropar and Chowk Mehta. The exact number of Sikhs killed are not know but 257 people were shot and killed during the storming of just a single Gurdwara in the operation, Gurdwara Dukhniwaran Sahib in Patiala.

Sounds so convincing but eye witnesses oppose what he says. There were no pre warnings to the pilgrims on the day of the storming of the Golden Temple. People who were there to pray were shot at by Brars troops. There were a rain of bullet marks on the outside of the Harmindar Sahib showing it was shot at with disregard. The troops entered the Harmindar Sahib with full army gear including their shoes and rifles in hand shooting everywhere innocent women and children were also shot at.

Why does everybody?There is the Truth and then there are lies and rumours.Alot of people like you have misconceptions about Sikhism,which are fed to you.It is important to clarify such misconceptions so that you are EDUCATED.

@akkifans well let me tell you this Guru Gobind Singh kept muskets,rifles,cannons (as in bombs those days) too in Gurudwara's. Ranjit Singh had guards bearing rifles in Gurudwara's and Nihangs started carrying their rifles in gurdwara's ever since they were created lol. And the average Sikh who is against Bhindranwale doesnt use the weapon stuff as an excuse against him...only non-sikhs do who are not aware of its history.

@akkifans Because AK-47 was not formed at that time. Our Gurus have always asked us to be Armed with whatever possible according to the time and situation. Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji made his Sikh Army equipped with Traditional Guns(Todedaar Bandook).Look back at the history before commenting anything.
