  • Nice video! Gerald. Thanks for showing the innerworks of combustion chamber.Have you ever tested a combustion chamber with only three sticks.

    best regards.

  • i see you use kerosene and six fuel inlets thanks

    thumbs up on the jet

  • do you add oil to the fuel to help lube the bearings

  • @richardarichter123 why should you add oil to the kerosene? that would end horribly for the engine. that doesn't even make sense, the kerosene doesn't come in contact with the bearings. In the big engines, like PW4000 or CFM Engines, the bearings have their own oil circuit, so they are lubricated and cooled all the time.

  • @gummel82 ok thanks ,turbo ones have oil lube set up,what fuel do run on it

and how many fuel nozzels does it have inside

built one got to get fuel set right

any good guids i can look at for these engine on the web

    thanks guy

looks like 6 fuel inlets or nozzles

  • Nice work man. Question do you have any problem lighting off propane? If your engine start good on propane, From the 12:00 O Clock position,, what number burner stick did you use for your propane input line?

  • By the looks of it I really think this can generate much more power. But I think if you increase the kerosene flow it will result in more thrust but much more heat...maybe you can figure something out like a water cooling device

  • What music is playing on the background?

  • exelente trabajo ,yo construi una kj66 completamente casera que funciona correctamente.me gustaria saber si esta camara de combustion mejora el desempeño con respecto a la camara original de la kj66

  • Where did you get the equipment? I want to make something like that

  • Very good work!

  • BRAVO!!

  • how much would it cost me to buy 1 of your engines?

  • how did u fabricate this pieces? lathes, cnc and autocad?

  • could i get your plans from you?

    thanks bodie488

  • @bodie488 : They can be downloaded from my homepage, see link on the main page.

  • Tnx Lau! The engine uses aircraft kerosine but parafine/petrolium would do fine as well. The turbine is ordered at jetmax.com

    Best regards,

    Gerald

  • cool music , cool engine!

im building my own at the moment too but how did you get the back turbine?

    out of a turbo?

and what kind of fuel do you use? diesel? paraffine?

you really have a nice CNC skill :D, we got a CNC at school but not one as good to make a diffusor :P

(i already downloaded your plans TNX!!!)

  • Just wanted to say WOW you did a great job...Thanks for posting it!

  • hey how much would that cost you

im urgently looking for one or even 2 of this kind turbine

for my jet Trek road bike project

can you sell it to me for a good price

  • @kenupcmac , Sorry, I don't make/sell components for others. Too less time for too many projects still to do.......you know!

    Best regards,

  • FKG grow up dude

  • did you machine your intake nozzle yourself or did you buy that piece separate?

  • @honeybunchickens, intake is made by me on my little lath. Most components are homemade except for compressor and turbine wheel.

  • @geraldrutten Nice! thanks for answering. What tool did you use to get the back of the intake manifold machined. Theres a slight curve that has to be made on the back of the intake to fit the exact measurement of the compressor blade. Im having a hell of time trying to figure that out. And answers is very limited. I have a lathe myself and before someone told me that it has to be made from CNC and very expensive 1,500 to 2,000 u.s.d. for the intake. I want to make it with my lathe.

  • @honeybunchickens very good question....i would like to know how to accurately make the intake without cnc also.

  • @antosdesantos 1 year later my question has been answered. I found several ways of doing this accurately with out CNC 1 year later it didn't take me that long to answer my own question. It was from talking to someone that has actually answered me and made his own micro jet from no CNC work. nice chatting with someone to answer a question one year later. Thats not very professional

  • @honeybunchickens what did you do to make it? care to share? thanks

  • o my god how could you make that out of scratch
