It's not enough to look at the "problems" that are created when different cultures interact. You have to look at the big picture. What positive outcomes are there when cultures interact: new points of view, new inventions, more tolerance and education and understanding of differences. Questions that are phrased narrowly are valid learning exercises, but only if both sides of an issue also explored.
By the way, dancing and music are not modern. They are some of the most ancient and universal aspects of human culture.
