Their both Action/Adventure games at their core therefore they will be associated with that genre, which also means they can be pitted against each other. Arkham City is already being tipped to be GOTY and the developers have spent over 2 years on this game making sure they weren't rushed into releasing it which gives it a solid storyline and gameplay.

@Cirkoos battlefield is a fine game but its just another pretty online military shooter. U3 will undoubtably be the best singleplayer experience but if you want a very long every penny experience that is rpg style get skyrim.
