  • They are great but I'm tired of seeing the Obama adds.

  • I don't know who she is just know she's out there. It's all about how she Carrie herself. Every man want it. She change the atmosphere with her present. Intelligent & sexy every man want it. Much respect it's all about the respect never catching her as a lame No No No. Not even a thought of nothing but Giving up everything for her love feeling butterflies when I see her eyes . She's out there and I got to have it. BRICK HOUSE

  • I grew up in a musical family in the 70's and 80's and I love the music, the bands, clothes, videos and the shows we had. And I also love how every one misses the music, the clothes, the videos and the shows -- but I remember how every one was bitching about the music, the clothes and the shows back in the day. Someday someone is going to miss the days of Gaga and Bieber like we miss Commodores and KC & The Sunshine Band.

  • I HATE U JB

  • suck his dick JB

  • It's interesting how many people think that it's Lionel Richie doing lead vocals on this track when in fact it was drummer/vocalist Walter Orange. It never sounded like Lionel to me at all.I was surprised when I looked at a Lionel Richie solo greatest hits cd and they included this song.

  • @TRANZEURO Lionel gets a lot of credit for things he didn't do with the Commodores. he was talented, no doubt, but he was hardly the only guy in the group.

  • @Braktooth Thank you for agreeing.Whenever you have a member of a group that is either the singer or if that member leaves a group and does well as a solo act it's almost always assumed that they're the ones that does or did everything while in the group. You have the same problem with Chicago/Peter Cetera, Genesis/Phil Collins etc.Lionel clearly wasn't the only great talent in the Commodores. It was also Walter Orange that did most of the vocals on their later hit 'Nightshift'.

  • FreshPrince Brought me here

  • SO FUNKY!!! My head can't stop moving to the awesome beat!

  • THATS MI ROCK N ROLL NIGGA!!!!

  • she's a brick house. the 3rd little piggy hid in her and that the big bad wolf couldnt get

  • I love how the singer still got more sex than he could ever need with glasses like those.

  • i love when he says house

  • lol my girl dances to this

  • Thumbs up if you still listen to this in 2011!

  • My friend was playing the bass line and singing this song in orchestra one day. That's what brought me here! :D

  • I'm an embalmer and I love embalming bodies and listening to this song.

  • @blueshockey41 très drôle

  • @blueshockey41 : WTFH!

  • @Mufaso1000 I love my job. I have no idea why, but this is my embalming song.

  • @blueshockey41 : Hey, Dude, whatever floats your boat! More power to you. Embalming seems like interesting work if you can get past the fact that those bodies were at one time living, breathing humans just like you and me. I admire you.

  • @Mufaso1000 Thanks. I've been interested in death ever since I was a kid. I have a degree in mortuary science. When I'm doing old people I don't have any problems because its the circle of life. But when I have to do a child I do have a hard time.

  • @blueshockey41 youre just fucking creepy

  • @drdevilz6 I guess my job is weird. But other than that, I think I'm a pretty normal person.

  • I brought myself here. No one needs to tell me about this awesome song.

  • HAHA MY EX DEDICATED THIS SONG TO ME! :D <3 IT

  • Rock n' roll when it was really FUN!!! BRING ON THE FUNK!! Shakashakashakashakit!!! Look at that band having a blast...smiles all around!! And if you were dancing to this back in the seventies....you were smilin' too. My #2 all-time favorite funk dance tune. (#1---"Play That Funky Music White Boy")

  • @blondwiththewind sweet you have really good tase could you tell me any other good funk songs?

  • @ForzaAquila LOL!!! You better believe I know a bunch of other good funk songs. I got the same question over on "Love Rollercoaster" (Ohio Players)...try that tune out...and I'll also send you a copy of the songs I sent over there....next message coming right up. Enjoy the funk....nothing like it to fill a dance floor or lift your spirits.

  • Brick House, the lady described here is in that 36-24-26, a bit too mean for many solar system females, but think of this 6-member band as parameters singin for their complementary opposite, aha! now your beginnin to understand where Im coming from

  • She's a brick... HAUS!

  • Drummer Walter "Clyde" Orange sang lead on this song instead of usual lead singer Lionel Richie, who also played keyboards and sax in the band.

  • This wasn't bad, BUT, I believe it was overplayed over the years. Moreover, I personally don't think it was better than "Easy", but that's just me.

  • Notice Lionel Ritchie on the SAX.

  • @Lonewolfmichigan

    By George, you're right!

  • hahah 2011 n dis is da shit! n im a 90s baby..

  • My taste in great funky music brought me here.

  • I brought myself here because of my excellent taste in music.

  • @ZetaCron Check my channel bro. Peace.

  • OK, maybe it's just the mp3 compression - but does the singer have some kind of effect on his voice - like double tracked with a bit-o-phase shift or something?

  • FEEL THAT FUNKAH BASS!!!!

  • love this song cause the dude has an afro

  • Itsa Funky-Soul song

    Funky!

  • Alright! Lol this is a good song!

  • this song never gets old,

  • I can't ever find the download link!

  • She's a BRICK...

    house.

  • does Lionel Ritchie really play the saxophone, too?

  • does Lionel Ritchie really the saxophone ,too

  • I've been turning my kids off of today's music, and onto mine. They LOVE it. Just goes to show this stuff never gets bad!! One day Lady Gaga will be forgotten, but Lionel Richie and the Commodores remain Legends! Today it's all about being famous and making money. Back then, it was true artistic talent and a desire to entertain people. Miss those days.....days when music was GOOD!

  • Black folks had THE best music in the '70's! I'm 50 now and I can tell you that all this rap crap just doesn't measure up to what we had back then. Still sounds great today!

  • @godtremble95 rap from the 80s and 90s is good...

  • @godtremble95 frank ocean, aloe blacc and the roots is not rap

  • @godtremble95 I was born in 1977. I give you a thumbs up to that response. I was born on great music. So I can see the degression of music back then to today's modern music. You'd have to be born back then to see the falling apart of music. If you were born late, then you can't tell.

  • @godtremble95 Absolutely. Blck music of the 70's will live forever, everything else, rap, crap.

  • @godtremble95 i totally feel ya and thats whats making me feel bad at the clubs. Am i the only one who thinks the majority of rap sucks and isnt danceable in the least.

  • @godtremble95 There are a lot of good artists out there, you're just not looking for them AND they are hard to find. Start with Raheem De Vaughn, Kindred and the Family Soul, Goapele and Ledisi. You'll be well on your way.

  • @godtremble95 No, these days you're just not paying attention. Venture beyond the mainstream before making sweeping generalizations, please.

  • Growing up in the ghetto, this song reminds me of my very young boy days getting a second hand high off my parents weed smoke during a party.

Seeing everything happen in reverse because I'm a high 5yr old! LOL.
