I would like to have the schematics for this project,also do you know f this device would light up on just the static that our body carrys or would you need to design and build a more sensitive device? please e-mail
Your 1N4005s are not providing ESD protection as shown. I suggest replacing them with a 100M resistor, and placing one 1N4148 diode from +5 to gate (anode to gate) and another 1N4148 from ground to gate (cathode to gate) and placing a 100K resistor between gate and antenna. The pot may be any value from 10K to 10M.
