  • Haha. Yah, you decided it would be a good idea to throw my glasses in the lake!!!

  • @KamerinMoore kamerin, i can't tell, are you wearing glasses here? and do you wear them when you do gymnastics?

  • 2012 olympic floor champion

  • haha. I hope. thanks.

  • I love Kamerin! She's amazing! :D

I cant wait for her to become a senior in 2011!

  • I love this girl!

  • NICE triple turn.

  • nice floor music and the turn at the begining was really cool to!

  • that was amazing. i can't wait to see her when she's older

  • u are!!!

  • Twelve

  • How old is she here

  • 13, Kamerin Moore was born on September 14, 1995

  • She puts a strap around the back of the glasses so they don't fall off. There is a strap attached that just pulls under her ponytail. and she is allowed to wear them if she wants too it doesnt go against any rules.

  • Actually i don't wear a strap. I used to, but it actually makes it harder for me to see.

  • How do they stay on?

  • They just do, they're like a part of me. It's like one of my fingers falling off. Not going to happen. lol

  • If she ever gets to wear them in the Olympics then you would imagine many gymnasts in it would want to do the same thing. I have never seen an Olympic gymnast wearing glasses, there must be a reason.

Some coaches I guess don't mind if you

wear them or not,but if they break or

something happens to them they are not

responsible ..only the gymnast. I think

it's better not to run any chances.

  • Fabian Hambuechen from Germany wore his glasses in the 2004 olympics.

I wouldn't, I would be afraid if I fell or something but your allowed.

  • see now i think she has 100 times more potential than wieber.... shes amazing!

  • She has improved sooo much over the last year!!

  • It is really dangerous for her to have those

glasses on,what about if someday she falls

on her face she could injure her eyes.

However if someday she goes to a world

    championships or an Olympics isn't

mandatory to not wear glasses in those

    competitions?

  • You have to be a certain age (I think it's 16)to wear contacts, and if her vision is really bad without them, it might actually be less dangerous for her to leave them on. I really don't know how they stay on, though.

  • It might be best if someone took her to an oftalmologist(eye doctor)and ask if she can

get contact lenses at her age or maybe have

eye laser surgery done. Anyway,if she goes someday to worlds or to the Olympics she

won't be allowed to wear glasses. There

    won't be any exceptions.

  • I don't know. I just read the Code of Points and it didn't say you couldn't wear glasses. I'm not sure they've ever run into somebody who wanted to before.

  • you guys are so funny. of course your allowed to wear glasses at worlds and the olympics. Martha has never even made one comment about them. haha.

  • they must give you bonus points for being cute!

  • haha. I don't think so!

  • @KamerinMoore hey how r u so good at such a young age? and are full-ins hard? ive only done them on tumble track....kinda nervous about doing them on floor....nice triple btw :)

  • Full-ins aren't hard, just a bit scary when you just start to do them. And thanks!

  • @KamerinMoore hahaha ok...thnks for replying

and jw y do elite girl gymnasts almost always end wit a double pike? i know its a D, but cant u jus do a double back tucked and get the same credit?

  • Yes, you can get the same credit for it but I find that double pikes are easier. That's a good question though. I don't really have an answer for that.

  • @KamerinMoore o well then maybe thats why? haha i jus noticed it so i thought maybe u would know haha

  • There is no age for contacts, I coach several girls under 13 who wear them. You do have to be much older to get laser eye surgery though (they won't do it until your prescription stabilizes...likely in your mid twenties). She is not in any danger, the lenses do not shatter when broken. They cannot keep her out of worlds or the olympics for wearing glasses....that is ridiculous.

  • How does she keep her glasses on through that routine?

  • That was a beautiful spin at the beginning as well.

  • her tumbling and jumps are great!

  • thanks for uploading!
