I know this is going to upset all the rabid Elvis fans, but the Tony Joe White version of this song that was a radio hit back around '69 or '70 is FAR superior to this Elvis cover. No comparision. Elvis sounds like he is phoning it in by comparison. If you like this song, do yourself a favor and check out the original.

@filigili Hey, It's blue moon of Kentucky from rockabilly madness. It is also available on Elvis Raw in it's original form. It was remixed with new drum, gtr, and bass tracks overlayed. It's from a concert in the 50's. Blue moon of kentucky is available in serveral different versions from the sun recordings to live recordings in the 70's.
