PRESIDENT BUSH Was NOT GIVEN A MEASLY 2-4 WEEKS OF antibiotics. Washington contacted the head of ILADS and HE was given the treatment course established by the ILADS!!! He was treated for MONTHS~TOO BAD he didn't correct the guidelines for the rest of us poor "commoners". WE ARE STILL MADE TO SUFFER. THANKS America.

Hey guys....PLEASE register at the Oprah Winfrey website and let her know how much you would like to see her do a show on Lyme disease. Dr. Oz thinks the "UNDER OUR SKIN" documentary is wonderful but a show about Lyme won't be done unless she sees lots of interest. Request that LLMDS and patients be the guests so that we can be heard. Also, Daryl Hall would make a great guest. WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER !

But still wondering: Disseminated Borrelia (chronic Lyme) or antibiotic (doxy/cefuroxime; crossing blood brain barrier; possibly sending neuro-toxins deep into brain) induced lupus [AKA "Post-Lyme disease syndrome"]? one thing about lyme is that it likes to live in a acidic ph level type body so if you cut back on all sugers but froot is ok in smaal amounts and eat more vegitables you will change your ph level. keeping your ph level alkaline is one of the most important part to keeping a healthy body. there is a pill that helps with this ask your parents to see if they can get it for you at a health food store it is called( PH BALANCE} I hope this is a big help for you.

The tick does NOT need to even be attached! I was bit and flicked the tick off immediately, got the bull's eye rash and I have had Lyme Disease for 19 years. Also I was diagnosed and treated immediately with 2 weeks of antibiotics and still developed chronic.

Doxy crosses the blood brain barrier. Leading Lyme researcher, Sam Donta,(and who appears to be pro-antibiotic) said he isn't certain Lyme spirochette *ever* crosses the BBB. So why so severe an antibiotic as doxy when amoxicillin is sufficient enough to kill the spirochette (but doesn't cross the BBB nearly as much as doxy)? MS is described as a disease of the BBB. Connection to antibiotics causing these auto-immune diseases since they're in experimental stage with sending them across BBB?

My daughter had it horribly for about 6 years, 1991 to 1996, she had the bullseye rash, but still two years before a diagnoses. Then it 4 years of oral Zithromax, and 3 months of Coloidial Silver, that was the magic bullet for her. But even this route cost me a fortune, I had to smuggle antibiotics out of Mexico.... Of course she had to change her diet as well.... She is now 24 and doing GREAT. We are always afraid it may someday return.

Then one day in 2003 I woke up in horrible pain and it has been a nightmare ever since. I finally found out that I may have Lyme last year and received Antibiotics for 5 months and was told I was cured but my symptoms continued and are slowly getting worse. My latest WB from Igenex was negative but it shows Lyme specific bands. Of course none of the doctors I have seen lately believe it is Lyme and the Lyme Literate Medical Doctor I saw a few years back is no longer practicing.

I was bitten by a deer tick in 1991 while I was on FTX in the US Army. I was aware of Lyme but I thought that you would always get the rash. No Rash no Lyme disease. Boy, was I wrong. I became so sick a few day later I could not even speak not even a whisper. Foolish me I should've gone and received medical care but I didn't. You can thank the Army's suck it up and drive on approach for that. Of course I recovered or so I thought.

I was treated 2 days after pulling the tick off. In 1.5 years I have been on 9 different antibiotics including IV rocephin and I still continue to relapse after 1-2 months. Now I am trying other protocols including herbs. This disease is hell.

Thanks to whoever posted this video! Lyme disease is the fastest growing disease in the United States, and that the disease is grossly under-reported. There are about 230,000 new cases each year! This disease has caused me to lose use of my Legs, have seizures, get stomach paralysis so that now I cannot eat, but have to have a feeding tube in my intestines, and it is so uncertain if any of this wil every go away. We need awareness, but we also need a care.
