@MWRTGaming i think there fitted with 'anti lag' which is computer controlled fuel ignition, which makes better throttle responce, so it backfires alot because of over fuelling

The backfiring is part of the anti-lag system.It's called a misfring system, in which valve timing is changed so that ignition occurs whilst the exhaust valve is open. This sends an explosive force down the exhaust manifold, which brings the turbocharger up to boost very quickly.

@AlphaKaso They've got no money Mitsubishi pulled out oh back in 2005/2006 and Subaru went at the end of 2008. But I think Subaru are eyeing a possible return with the new engine regs an all.
