  • Gosh there must be so many versions of this fab song - I guess they are great - shall we all get together and do our own? LOL

  • Sergio Mendes & Brazil 66 kicked on this jam!

  • Dusty Springfield's version is one of the best. Delfonics is not too bad either. I love the Delfonics!!!!!

  • @barbie042560 try Gladys Knight's version.. It's my favourite anyway!

  • canibus samples this too hypnotis i think the song is called

  • rza seems to sample the guitar sounds in this song in many of the tracks he makes.

i can tell just by the sound of the guitar playing in this song. compare this to wu tang's 7th chamber song part 2.

  • other masterpiece music

  • I am using my son's youtube account, that should tell you how old I am. But people my age still know how to use computers, thank God. Keep uploading these songs to my delight.

  • Both artists killed they versions.

    Pete Rock laced Ghostface.

  • Where are they now, I miss them......Beautiful!

  • Many people are asleeep to the work of Burt Bacharach. before you do anymore thankin and appreciatin' we need to give a big up to Mr. Bacharach - the writer of this and many, many other classics sampled and re-used by many of the greats!

Recognize the true origins of good music!

  • Well said!

  • You are correct. Dont even mention wat he did with Ms Dione Warwick.

  • i'm wide awake to the contributions of burt bacharach:)..dionne warwick, cher, issac hayes, bj thomas and way too many others to mention:)

  • @dscot Were not the lyrics written by Hal David & Music by Mr Burt?

  • didn't j dilla sample this song? i could be wrong..

  • big ups to anybody with an ear to appreciate and sample this but without the delfonics MAAAAN! lol i know id be lost.

  • the delfonics set a trend of sweet soul music with a little bit elegance with this song which was made in 1968, issac hayes made a remake of this song a year later which i think are both masterpieces

  • Pete Rock does do this thang, the sample he use is just sick
