I like Eckankar. The HU song works for me in a variety of ways better than many other things I have tried. Twitchell doesn't matter to me whatever he did or didn't do. I continue to get many good things from Klemp's writings, and I don't take his word for everything. And the HU, God's Spirit stands on It's own regardless of religions or personalities. I like the Eckankar people. It's nice to be with other people who have had various supernatural experience to relate with. Makes me happy.

Religion and cults do not like scrutiny or any outside information that challenges the validity of what they are claiming. They don't want people pointing out lies, inconsistencies, plagiarisms or manipulation.

@MrSealforce The only true Master is yourself. What you chose to do in this spiritual "life". Eckankar will help many seekers find this truth and that is what is important. You dismiss Eck as a CULT: a religion regarded as unorthodox or spurious; also : its body of adherents. That's the very reason I'm a member. Your arguments are KAMA. It's the message not the messenger that matters and Eck is actually thousands of years old. Method in Twitchell's madness is Soul.

I think people feel a need to respond and defend their positions because these positions are dear to them, that's why we defend our country, religion, and politics. What I don't understand is why others spend energy taring apart someone else's belief system. I don't think you will see a person of Eckankar on a Christian forum slamming them for being the biggest cult of all. Just my opinion, no I am not an Eckankar person.

Thank you! When you experience the Truth first hand, no one can tell you otherwise. Paul Twitchell was EVERYTHING he says he was and so is Eckankar. But we as true Eckists do not need confirmation from out here--- Some who have been Eckists in name only didn't bother to do their spiritual exercises with love which is essential for the spiritual transformation of consciousness in order to experience the Truth. Then you can meet these masters and ask them for yourself. Experience is the ONLY way.

The problem is that what you are experiencing is coming from your own mind. You're interpreting these sensations according to the dictates of two con men: Klemp and Twitchell, both very shady characters who speak out of the both sides of their mouths. Been there and done that. Glad I woke up because it's a major waste of time and money and effort.

Why does The Eckankar Religion not offer or even acknowledge the teachings of it's lineage? Politix? &Y after years is the single Paul Twitchell film available online a frightening animation? What could be done to repair here the memory of the man who is represented by that speaking corpse?

If you really had any faith in your cult, then you wouldn't need to defend it. Believe whatever you want, ignore all the contradictions, Believe that your delusions are real. Who cares? The overwhelming proof shows eckankar is a fraud based on lies and plagiarisms and mind games. Those who think they're so open-minded are really closed to all the proof and logic. Enjoy your delusions and sing Hu and stare at Harold's mousy face til you are obsessed with the guy.

You just proved my point. Espousing nonsense without any proof other than some sort of delusion emanating from your own ignorant mind. Without even a rudimentary knowledge of psychology, you'll believe almost anything. Whenever there's a challenge you remark that the person is angry as if this is not a viable emotion. Harold Klemp is a scumbag and eckankar is a joke to anybody with any semblance of intelligence and experience with con men. Enjoy your cult and your delusions.

Of course on the surface Eckankar appears to be plagiarized; It's the truth that links ALL religions. I understand why that's frustrating. Personally I know the teachings are real because of personal experience with Divine Love. All I'm saying is if spiritual freedom interests you try Eckankar. We're all where we need to be. How you feel is exactly right for you. Do you know of any other religion that's that open to others' opinions? I appreciate your honesty and your willingness to express it!

This "naysayer" was a member for almost 15 years, and many "naysayers" were members for 25+ years. Galileo didn't plagiarize. Paul Twitchell simply copied from books he found at the public library. I don't appreciate being lied to and conned.

What kind of character would do such a thing and claim somebody else's work, passion and experiences as his own? A low-life con man is the answer. For people to look past this criminal act is to embrace the criminality itself.
