skate is a great series dont get me wrong but watching this sure does bring a tear to my eye. Although 2 and 3 were great I kinda felt to spoilt by them and that some of their features were unnessasary when you compare how OG skate layed down the fundamentals and feeling of skateboarding so well. Its still their i suppose in 2 and 3 its just that the feeling isn't as strong anymore. Screw it im buyin first skate tommorow.

skate, the graphics look more realistic and look way better than skate 2. the soundtrack is way better. and the spots are sicker. skate 2, there are so many glitches its not even funny. the sound track is absolutely shit, and it has more features. skate 2 is better for gameplay, but skate has a better "feel" to it if you know what i mean. and dont tell me i dont know what im talking about. i conquered skate many times and skate 2 plenty of times.

1. customizing graffiti art and spraying it where ever you want

2. Free running

3. The Park creator

4. The Bike

5. The Story

6. The awesome American Wasteland at the end of the game!

skate one is better, the live play is very chilled out and people care about actually making what they do look good. The graphic for skate one aren't as cartooney, the spots are better and there is more blur so it is smooth, i own both and believe that one is by far the better game. an original

I Agree. Also In Skate 2 They Changed Up The Camera Angle a Bit, The Tricks Don't Flow As Smooth, and The Graphics Aren't as Good. The Create a Character Sucks. Don't Get Me Wrong, It's a Good Game But They Should Have Stuck With The First Formula and Just Added Getting Off You Board. Game Would Have Been Sick. Sometimes Skate Two Feels Like an Updated THPS 1.

they also increased the framerate in skate 2, which makes it much smoother and more fluid. Skate feels very stiff by comparison. I really like the Community Center from Skate but there are lots of really good spots in Skate 2. Getting both is the only way to go, but Skate is fine if you're trying to spend the least amount of money.

this game is amazing, its just some features like u get trapped in stupid places because u cant stop skating and walk. and the controls are way different from the classical TH series.

the phisics in this game are way more realistic, the turning speed, the posible doing tricks, and all, (in tony hawk u could skate over a rail without grinding it[thats weird]). conclusion: this game is cool but it could be better.
