Electric > Nitro for these reasons:

1. Speed - Some brushless motors are faster than Nitro engines.

2. Cost - You'll spend ~$200 on 1-2 LiPo's and a charger which will last you in excess of two years before having to be replaced. With Nitro, you must purchase fuel (~$35-$40 each gallon) about once a month.

3. Ease of Use - Electric doesn't require tuning.

4. Quiet - This may be a negative to a few, but in some places it is frowned upon - or even illegal - to run something as loud as a Nitro

Hell yeah. I took my e max to the local rc monster comp. I was the only electric there! Got laughed at till I owned them all in drag, circut, and long jump. I was running a single brushless. Thinking about buying another for next year.

thats because the second that you send power to an electric motor, it is working at its maximum power and torque. a gas motor has to rev before it gains power.

well iv had my savage x for 3 years..

i broke a tvp in half (3mm) and a a-arm..

and in order to break a tvp in half you need alot of force on impact....

and if you have a savvy flux and batteries it will last 3yrs too with maybe one change of batteries if the lipos are handled correctly wounder how much cash you've dropped for gas over the years lets see 12x3=36 36x40=$1440 you've spent in gas given the amount of fuel that's nearly if not more than enough to buy a flux, charger, and 2x 3s lipos just from the money in gas

Well I get a good 45min runtime and have a second battery so 1:30 of runtime and for me that is way more then enough time and truth be told nitro doesn't offer the power that I want to truely have fun not to mention not breaking your eardums or any laws running in the park
