check my videos out I used avi and recored audio through mic jack. i then used windows movie maker to convert it to wmv to reduce file size

@TheConservativesrock I'd probably convert to MP4/mkv using MeGUI or HandBrake. You can use really high bitrates while having a low file size using mp4 or mkv.

@igotverylongname About 18 dollars or less.. A lot of people can't get the settings right, or else it looks like crap. And S-video would probably look better even though I'm using composite cables for this video.

@ThePlaystationEarth Try making sure its not muted in the Control Panel. Also you can try setting it as default. And make sure you have it selected and working in Ulead.

try changing the settings.  If theres a problem with easycap its just the settings -_-

Try mpeg II then a high bitrate "mines at 8500" and um make sure that all the settings are right. p.s. theres a bug in the software that make the sound go back to 64 bit so make sure that its on the right sound setting for the audio quality.

Options> video and audio capture settings property settings...> under the source tab you should see audio. make sure Digital Audio Interface aka easycap's sound source. I hope it worked :)

And if yet that doesn't work then click start> control panel> hardware and sound> sound> recording tab> right click digital audio interface and click "set as default.
