that last note you tap with your right hand, are you doing a tapped harmonic to get that little squeal? Pretty cool. I remember seeing this video in a pop on ultimate guitar about 4 years ago when I was using tabs to learn bass. Now I do both. I never though about what you were doing, but now I see these crazy techniques and they don't seem really hard. KH was a badass guitarist, but he's pretty basic compared to others. Still a great guitarists though

This is NOT "Tapping", this a hammer on/pull off (yes I know, using the picking hand for the hammering)....Tapping is tapping the string 12 frets above the note you are actually playing in order to get a natural harmonic. EVH used tapping in the song "Dance the night away" to get those wonderful natural harmonics.

Thats not tapping, thats right hand hammer on/pull off. Tapping is a completely different thing. If you are going to intruct people, get it right and don't spread bad information. In case you don't know what tapping is, listen to the intro in "women in love" by van halen.

People condemn tapping because it can make a begginer sound like a pro... But isn't that what music is about, the freedom of anyone to make good sounds? And besides, whilst a begginer may be able to play a simple (albeit still impressive-sounding) 12-8-5 riff, a pro can play a whole arpeggio at lightning speed... So don't condemn tapping, just incorporate it into your playing style and make those kids jealouse!

that isn't really tapping at it's fullest there is two hand tapping arpegios and tapping out melodies and holding down a formation of notes and tapping around them with the right hand whilst holding the notes in the left.

dear people, when i tap or hammer on or pull off, it is no where near as powerful as my other guitar or as powerful as yours, is there a way to fix this.
