First off, our past section leader is an amazing player. If you read the description, you would know that this was one of our first sectionals and we had a lot of newcomers. Secondly, Our section leader has a new Trumpet that she got last year after the marching band season was over.
And we don't have a second section leader to help us because 1 Rachel could handle us very well (Believe it or not, our section ended up being best musically after some more sectionals of course, sectionals that were better than this one) and 2 I guess my band director didn't want me to be co section leader? Idfk. I think this year I should have been section leader, but what ever. Thanks for your input though.
did you guys have to go in there because of that one old guy who kept yelling at you or was that like mini camp or what ever? ohy yea i was in that band saraht c4
for the first movement we have like 26, for the other 2 we have more lol idk, I don't have my set card with me. XD. We were taking it at a slow tempo because 1 it was one of our first sectionals, and 2 we have 5 freshmen marchers.
We just got back from band camp today (August 28th) and our section needs to learn how to march and play their music. We have a game to play at tomorrow and we only have the first movement worked out with drill. Meaning we'll have to mark time in place for movements 2 and 3.
Our band is doing that song and 2 others this year and our trumpet section has 16 trumpets , 2 seniors, 2 juniors, 6 sophmores, and 6 freshmen and on our first day it sounded pretty good better than that, but it is a challenging piece and nothing is ever perfect, so good luck and i hope you have a great show

Well that's good. This year my section doesn't seem to care.
1 hardly showed up to the rehearsals, and missed a competition or two.
2 the only one I actually like from my section. (marching band and friend wise)
3 complains about how 2 isn't doing this right, or that right; also doesn't dress arcs and whatnot when supposed to
4 Me
5 showed up to one summer sectional and sat out for most of the marching band rehearsals
6 don't like her personality (your mom this your mom that to everything)

complains that set 13 is a diag, when in reality, it's an arc. need I go on.....

That was one of our first sectionals. Also, we have 4 freshmen new to marching band, and a Junior as well.
