I'm going through the same thing. I used to be a terrible workaholic. I think the last project must have broken something in me. Long days, got virtually nothing out of it. Now I'm finding that I would much rather be writing than working. If only I were independently wealthy...
Also...so you know, I decided not to stress myself out with UPLOADING this weekend (Thanks Dale!) but rather just focus on shooting everything. I would have to find an internet cafe as the libraries don't let you upload or something like that and the whole thing just sounds like it'll take me too far away from what I should be focusing on. Dale was right to say, as long as I RECORD the blog on each day, that's what matters! I'll hold up a newspaper or something to prove the date! lol
I can totally sympathise with you, I have a regular fulltime job but with the amount of time I spend per week editing it almost feels like I have a second job, but of course the hours I spend editing are a labour of love :)
Hey! I bet you must spend hours and hours editing! That's what amazes me on YouTube. People have these amazing videos that I'm sure took HOURS to edit and then they have kids (DALE!) and then they have full-time jobs, etc. It is further proof that when you find something that you LOVE you will suddenly have energy after a long day to do what you love.
here's also the thing, although I don't tell anyone there is probably a story behind almost all my videos re the challenges/dilemmas I had to overcome making them, I feel I could almost just BLOG about the experience of making videos! :)
I think that the struggle to find the balance between work and your dream will be a running theme through many of these (along with being tired, of course).
Don and I need to place a bet on when the first time will be when you say something like, "I am really starting to HATE these vlogs." or "I don't think I want to keep doing these." or something like that.
Sept. 18th! LOL Your comments are always so right on point. "non-human dedication" is also the same as INSANTITY. I have totally lost it at this point and it's just like synapse firing...BING....BANG.....BASH! I guess we dreamers/artists are all answering to a call that is unseen/unheard by others. Like a moth to the flame...like geese flying North...like the Dunkin Donuts guy ("Time to make the do-nuts")...we all must do what we do!
Wow! Sounds like you're going to be super busy in the next several days. Hang in there! And this one was so interesting I couldn't believe the timer went off when it did. The time just flew. Like last night you were trying to fill time and tonight it was totally different. Have a great weekend! Don't drink too much. LOL! Don.
True... I felt that too. I felt like I was just "talking" and then the alarm went off! Maybe I'm getting more relaxed and settled into this blog-a-day experience! Woo woo!

Only because you amaze me with you non-human dedication. :D It is UNREAL!
I would probably bet Sept 18th. :D I just pulled that date out of my butt, though. I have no idea. :D
But I DO know that you will finish your commitment, even though you might want to stop at one point!
Good morning!
