Chinese restaurants are about the cleanest in the world, can't say this about some western rests. with poorly made food, hair in food and filthy hygiene. Sigh
I have worked with Chinese in the kitchen. No problem with them. But I worked for an in Italian in Sydney...they just hosed all the rubbish that was left on the floor out into the streets.

Knoblauchduft:In Italy and Europe, Chinese restaurants are amongst the dirtiest one.Of course there are exceptions but here Chinese Rest.are known for poor hygiene to say nothing of low cost low quality food. Sorry this is a fact.
@Knoblauchduft it depends on the restaurant, I think. Try reading Chinadaily: "In Guangzhou more than 70% of cooked food products sold in markets and stores fail to meet national hygiene requirements, threatening the health". It is the same in NZ, in the Yum Cha restaurants of Auckland I was horrified to see the state of the staff in the kitchens and the lack of hygiene being displayed by the cooks. There are good and bad restaurants...
