Thanks so much, Megan! I just got a Louet drop spindle, and the "wonderful" instruction booklet that came with it didn't do much in the way of instructing. From your videos, I now know what to do with the thick roving, how to draft and spin, and how to set the twist. Louet left a lot out...Thanks again!

Good tutorials. My issue with them is the background music. Being partially deaf, the bass does drown out your speaking voice and I miss instructions. This is my problem; however, I wanted to mention it in case others have the same issue. Thank you for creating and posting your videos. :-)

Hi - do you not ply your yarn? I have just started to create some singles (using your vids - thanks) but all of the other articles I read / view talk about plying two singles together before you hank them?

Plying yarn is something you can decide whether or not you are going to do with your singles. It's not a requirement, though, but can balance out a beginner's more uneven yarns. There are a few methods, and in the near future I plan on making videos with some plying techniques. For now, the day job has me.
