How to Theme your Status Bar on iPhone & iPod Touch

in order for this to work nowadays, you need to do this

first folder: statusjeff(or whatever you name it).theme

second folder: UIImges

Default_BG needs to be Translucent_Base.png

FST_BG  needs to be Black_Base.png

FSO_BG needs to be Silver_Base.png

I need some help guys this probably does work but I'm having problems with my status bar I cant change it at all even when I download themes from winterboard my status bar won't change colors at all any help please

how can u change the color of the clock, wifi bars, and carrier on the status bar? keep in mind that my status bar is all black and it appears all black in all apps, not just in springboard. i'd like to know if i can change the clock, wifi, and carrier to white against my black status bar. again, the status bar appears all black in all apps, not just in springboard. thanks.

@davidxrodriguez well there are themes on cydia that change the color for you not to sure how to customize that yourself but if you want something fast and easy definitely go to cydia and search for the themes under the sections tab on cydia

@jirowang110 .. thanks for the reply. would u happen to know how i can change the colors on the top bars opf apps.. for example, on the address book, the border and top is rendered in bluish gray. is there a way i can ssh into my iphone and change that color to say, red or black?

@davidxrodriguez oh i totally know what your talking about I changed mine as well. Unfortunately idk how you can change the color yourself but again you can download themes that have that set up and ssh into your iphone too customize it yourself. Like for me I have the "pretty pink" theme and those taps are set up so they change color and I customized it by sshing into my device.

@davidxrodriguez what I do is I copy the theme file onto my computer and look at the pictures of the icons in each file (so that I can see which files control which part of the theme) for folders that say telephonyUI those are usually the stuff that changes the slider and stuff on the lockscreen. So say you wanted the sliders from that particular theme you want to keep that entire folder so that the slider will work on your iphone. I hope that makes sense lol its so hard to explain

@jirowang110 .. yes i know exactly what youre talking about.. this isnt something new to me. i just want to know the file names of those files that make up the pages, top headings, and sliders of apps.

also, do you know how to enable the accessibility option in an iphone 2g? its an option thats unique to 3gs and 4g. theres a feature on it called 'white and black' that inverts the colors of apps. its a fucking cool look that i need. do you know how to enable it?
