I had a 66' 17' Caravel as well. I bought when I was 19, from some Airstream friends of my grand parents. I took it cross country at 21 in 1997. Unfortunately, I was dumb and sold it for double my investment in SF, but I have missed it ever since. You did a very beautiful retrofit, new yet true to the original layout. Very nice. I have my eye on a 64' 19' Globetrotter fixer upper. Wish me luck. Thanks again.
