I went to Albania to visit family for the first time. I fell in love with Albania. The people were very nice and the mountains are beautiful. What can I say the sea was beautiful too. Yes, you do still see donkeys and goats and horse driven wagons, but I think that's what made it special. I can hardly wait to back.

I went to Albania to visit family for the first time. I fell in love with Albania. The people were very nice and the mountains are beautiful. What can I say the sea was beautiful too. Yes, you do still see donkeys and goats and horse driven wagons, but I think that's what made it special. I can hardly wait to back.

@1234fluffybunny1 Hi my father was Albanian. I went to visit my family that I've never met last year. They live in Skhoder. I did see some of the other towns and went to Tirana. Durres and a couple of other coastal towns. It was just different but it made an impression that will last forever in my heart. I was hoping to go back this year but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. You never know though. Are you from Albania?

@rnieves333 Yes I am from Albania. I went to visit my family last year too!! My mother's parents live in Balsh and my dads parents in Lushnje. I also went to Vlore. It was beautiful there. My brother and dad are going next year.

I was hoping to go back this year, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. My cousin, his wife and their two sons came to Pula, Croatia where I'm living now for a visit. It was great seeing them. Are you living in Albania or are you in the U.S.? I was born in Calif. Albania will be forever in my soul and my heart. Keep in touch.
