The White helmets were used on the night for the cameras to follow as they were interviewed, the cadets had no senior or people in control of the drills, all cadets were the same level and just given red helmets and the same uniforms.
Yes well done theyare fire cadets... Theres loads of other brigades with Young Firefighter/ Cadet schemes in the country, im in one at F24 Shoreditch with London Fire Brigade
i'm part of the hereford and worcester young firefighters, its a great help to get you into the fire brigade, you do all sorts of search and rescue, build dams, put out mock fires, etc.
im a fire cadet in armadale its good and fun

We had a few white helmets to show the who the senior cadets were, which were the one's in overal control of the drills
