  • EXCELLENT TRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Regards from Monterrey NL Mexico

  • Simply wonderful - just heard it yesternight for the first time.

  • awesome, defo "my cup of tea", and "my kind of music"

  • discogs.com/Various-Cold-Waves-And-Minimal-Electronics-Vol1/release/2967128

  • Information !!! There is a brand new STEREO video on youtube : Lover on the run... from the « Somewhere in the night » Minimal Wave CD & LP. Enjoy ! Mike

  • oooww, so good

  • Fantastic!

  • Kraftwerk - Radioactivity 1975

  • I've found a brand new song of Thierry Noritop (the guy from STEREO) on Youtube :"New York day" from the album NYC Lounge. Enter in the search line "NYC Lounge Noritop"... It's really GREAT even if it's different of the STEREO sound !!! Mike

  • What a great song. I will take it in my minimal wave set but definitely have to excise the saxophone-part. I know it's very 80ies but in this case it's rather bizarre to my ears and destroy's the wonderful mood created in the first 2 minutes.

  • Never heard this song before!! Absolutly awesome!!

    My compliment to "stereosomewhere"

  • Absolut GREAT Minimal Wave song.

    Fav!

    5*****

  • Very very gooooooooood!

  • This is a fucking brilliant tune. The saxophone is a very versatile instrument that can compliment many different types of music. These two are in the same league as Kraftwerk in my opinion.

  • 1982???Imposible !!

    This is the future.

    Amazing !

  • @vortons I agree with you. I think the saxophone really spoils the mood of the song, and makes it sound really commercial and tacky (think post "Journeys To Glory" era Spandau Ballet).

In fact I dislike the saxophone so much I felt compelled to edit this track on Audacity. It worked well.

  • @Jarren202 LOL you're right, I did the exact same thing with Mark Lane's 'That's Dream'. Brilliant tracks spoiled by dated sax.

  • @belzondium Good call. I have nothing against saxophones in their natural habitat: jazz. It's when they (most notably in the mid-80's) invade rock and dance music that I really get wound up.

I really cannot comprehend how anyone thought it would be a good idea to replace a guitar solo with a sax solo. Guitar solos can sound self indulgent but when it is replaced with a big blaring saxophone it really spells an ego on the loose in my opinion.

The instrument overrides the music as a whole!

  • to jest to:)

  • Another bomb re-discovered by Flemming Dalum back in 2005 or 2006. He even used it on his amazing DANCE OF THE OBSCURE ROBOT mix - which was released on Panama Racing.

  • Hallo !

Please take a look of my ITALO DISCO composition called LAZH MAN (youtube)

  • I LOVE ELECTRONIC MUSIC...

  • Ive found a brand new video of STEREO on Youtube : TV News !!! The song is as amazing as Somewhere in the night and No more. Guess it is from the Minimal Waves album GREAT GREAT GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • These guys are really ripping off the whole 80s sound, infact it sounds just like it was made in the 80s!!!

  • they're not ripping off anything.. this track originally WAS released in the 80's - 1982 to be exact..

  • Stereo avant-garde music!!!! This is made in 80' age.

  • I know! I was just having a laugh!

  • cool!

  • nice song!

  • This sounds very modern, and ahead of its time! :-)

  • ok very,very good

  • Magnifico, grandioso video and song!

  • A very great song !!!
