  • That place is so cool! Whats that car? sounded like an accord.

  • @insulationking You're right, it's 92 Honda Accord EX

  • go out there on friday night and have a fucking blast beer bon fires mud trucks and best of all the cops dont really fuck with ya just dont drive drunk.

  • Looks like a great place to go ride ATV's does anybody go trail riding out there?

  • @pineviewallstar1 thats all its used for and racing cars around those corners

  • Yo you have no life man. Why dont you show the people the good parts of palm bay! seriously man ur making my home town look stupid.

  • @surferboy8000 The purpose of this video is to show the viewers that the economy is failing, which it is. If I were to show the few good things in Palm Bay, what would be the point? Did you even bother to read the title of this video?

Maybe next time, you'll use what little brain cells you actually have to think before posting moronic comments. In addition, you might want to work on your grammar skills so you don't look like a total idiot.

  • that's where my niece's practiced driving lol

  • the guy doing this video has no life!!!

  • @ronito407 So, if I have no life for making this video, what does that say about for you taking the time to watch it and comment?

  • this place is the shit me and my brother go all the time to drift or fire off fireworks at other people lol

  • this is home turf. its not scary or dangerous. its actually quite cool out there. mudding shooting off road fires + fireworks...its sick

  • the reson jt died was he was sitting in the bed of a truck when the truck hit the damm speed bump and he fell out and hit his head and died

  • @sothenrnribar heard he was jumping between two trucks at 70mph+ I go to mel high but my girlfriend at the time went to bayside and was out there the night he died. we always leave a beer at his cross anytime we go out

  • Does anyone know why this land hasn't been sold? If the company that started this went bankrupt, who has ownership/control over the land now?

  • @TrueFever Bombardier Recreational Products owns this land. I work for there testing department

  • Is the land owned by just one company/person, several people, or does the government have control over it?

  • hell yeah, used to party out there all the time back in the day . back before it had a fuckin Wikipedia page >_< *sigh*

  • I taught my daughter to drive there...also learned to ride my motorcycle there....it's just one desolate area. Palm Bay is not half as bad as you make it...Easy access to 95, tons of shopping, easy ride to the port and attractions in Orlando

  • We go out there to run the trails and climb the jumps...fun fun fun...especially when it rains.

  • JT Fell out of the back of a pickup truck and landed on his head. They werent racing, just turning the corner... one of those freak accidents. The Compound isn't a scary place, it's a great place to go offroading. For as many paved roads, there are even more off road trails. It gets a bad rep, but Ive been going out there twice a week for a long time.

  • @chasexwheeler ik alot of pppl that knew him too :(

  • hahaha.... where i go 4wheeling and racing!!!!! nice :) love it there... good mudding

  • I really hate cops. There nothing but toruble making criminals. Fuck cops. There is no reason why you can't drive these roads. They have names, And there for public. Fuck the police. Take badge numbers down and take it to the cheif of police or your local courts.

  • Someone said there is a stop light out there. Just a single stop light. Not sure though.

  • When people starve to death, at least they'll know why.

  • It's really not that bad out there, just a bunch of kids goin out there and havin fun.. The roads are all paved, it's not that hard to navigate. I go out there about 3-4x a week... It's pretty cool to just go and get away from the city for a while.

  • if you live near the palm bay melbourne area you need to check this place out. It really isnt as confusing as he makes it seem. just be careful of any random cars and dont stop for no body. there have been bodies found out here shot, burned and strung up alive

  • looks like some good rads to rally on and drag race

  • i live out there

  • I was told that those roads were built way before the eighty's by general development

  • @starbroadcasting

Yeah it was built in the early 80's by a company named "JDC", the bought the land, cleared and paved it then went bankrupt, nothin really they can do about it. Bombadier had a research plant right at the entrance that they use to test out all the new four wheelers, dirt bikes, jet skis, it's pretty cool watchin 'em ride.

  • just out of curiosity do you go to FGCU?

  • @icebrickwall1 Nope, never attended that college.

  • @dragasoni you aint from around here are you? you should do some research on this before you say negative things, there is a reason you cand build out there i forget what it is, but people do own most of the land out there

  • @st2joker wrong BRP owns all the unoccupied land out there.

  • If you live anywhere near there, you know that the way you get out is either memory or the power-lines. Now the cops don't even care if they see you with helmets on in a group when you are riding 4-wheelers.

  • ya that place was always abandon

  • the fourwheeling used to be so good out there lol

  • This is where the millions of bodies will be buried when the riots start and the neo-Black Death is unleashed. They have a plan, folks, to wipe out 80% of humanity.

  • @beneehall Is that a promise? 80% of humanity get on my nerves anyway.

  • @beneehall incorrect,...they will burn them. You dig down 6ft anywhere in FL. ya hit water.Path of least resistance is just burn them. Please forgive the brutal honesty.

  • yup that place is creepy. alot of secret military shit happens here. i live like not even a mile from there. kids come out here to party and go muddin. funny thing is civilizations like a block away from where it starts to get desolate.

  • LOOKS LIKE CUBA

  • AWESOME PLACE TO DO ANYTHING! i own a stock ( for the most part) 2000 ranger and i haul through this place, 80-100 and ive seen cops on the way in but they dont even dare to really go into the place. If they are there they will either ask you to leave or follow you. Its not that bad really, just write down your turns or set markers, orange paint is everywhere down there from me

  • You need to be careful. There could be Satan worshipping zombies out there ready to feed you to the alligators.

  • wow, talk about desolate. I would be terrified to be out there if it were dark and my car broke down. I can remember yrs. way back billboards advertising for the "new Palm Bay Developement". I guess it didn't happen. You would think that there would be campers squatting. Probably no well or any way to get a water supply. Good vid.

  • @chaineychainaman Apparently, the police patrol this area a lot which might be why there aren't any squatters. But I can say that a good number of the roads are dirt, and some are so bad that a regular car wouldn’t make it. So, I’m sure people with Jeeps can get much deeper down some of the roads were the cops wouldn’t see them.

I have a very good sense of direction, and I almost got lost! So GPS would be a very good idea if you plan on driving through the compound.

  • Thanks for your response...I would only take a car out there if I truly trusted it....I like the comment in wikipedia about making sure you take a GPS system out there...I can see why....I sent the video to a couple of friends and they were asking about the memorial for JT...any ideas what happened to him?

  • @billyjoebobway My car is old, but it always seems to make it. There's a video on my channel about the car.

I put a link about JT in the description box below the video. It's a mobile web link, but it was the only one I could find.

  • @billyjoebobway he probaly got shot, you have to becareful at night i know alot of friends who got shot or stabbed out there also alot of people kill people there.....not a fun place to be at night.

  • @TheIcantbelievethis wtf u tlkn bout

  • @jmp498 wtf u talking about never been houses in the compound asshole

  • @TheIcantbelievethis whatever dickweed i live out there

  • @jmp498 so did i faggot niggas shoot off sniper rifles n shotguns out there dont act like u dont know bitch

  • @TheIcantbelievethis you must be a hardcore gangster judging by your lingo ..... LOL

  • did you get any cell phone signal out there? I can see why they tell you to take a gps system out there....being a dirtbiker myself, looks like an awesome place...maybe the state of california can grow their pot there when it becomes legalized....the ship it via train to california...Ill suggest it....LOL

  • @billyjoebobway I didn't even check my phone, but most likely there would be coverage. Most of Florida is flat so there are very few dead zones. I'll go down there and check for you went I get my Honda back on the road in about a month or so. My wife's car is too fragile and expensive to drive on roads like that.

  • good place to dump bodies! thanks....LOL

  • A Mark Brunell Real Estate Development ...lol

No actually Aliens are living there you just don't see them :)

  • Maybe with QE2(stimulus) they can build some energy efficient houses that nobody will buy.

  • it's amazing isn't it, and they keep trying to push housing starts!

  • @crushingright I know, this doesn't make any sense. Not to mention, the banks aren't loaning money right now unless you have perfect credit and plan to put down like 50%.

  • Good video man, Keep us posted!

I got you the Jack in the Box taco you ordered, Did you see the video yet?...lol

  • @commando602 Thanks man!

Not yet, I'm still catching up because my laptop died last night. I spent about 5 hours trying to fix it. I ended up deleting Windows and reinstalling it. But I did this without any data loss. You delete C:\WINDOWS and reinstall the operating system while leaving all the files and folders intact. Little trick I learned in college.

  • oh someone will find you out there alright.. the cops hide out there.. the last time I was out there the cops snuck up on me outta no where, scared the ever living shit outta me, told me I had no business being out there & told me to leave.... I'm surprised one didn't sneak up on you... o.o

  • @JakeDaSnakeFilms - Arnt you an American driving your own car that you paid tax's on and all kinds of other fee's and driving on American soil?... How and why did the cops tell you to go away when it is not private property. Nothing against you brother but as an American that would of pissed me off. I would of told them I have a right to go anywhere in my own country as long as it is not private property.

  • @JakeDaSnakeFilms The cops have no right to tell you to leave public property. Unless there's a no trespassing sign, you're free to roam as long as you're not causing any trouble. Not to mention, I had my wife in the car as my witness and a camera ;)

People don't know their rights anymore, just like walmart asking to see your receipt. I ask them if they have a search warrant, and then keep walking after they answer no. Without a warrant they can't do anything.

  • @dragasoni that's a damn good point, & in that case, I feel like ripping that officer a new one...

  • @JakeDaSnakeFilms I know what you mean, the trouble is that the police have too much power these days. You can't even state your case anymore without them arresting you, and ruining your record for life.

It's total crap, like those red light cameras on Malabar Road. It's you, versus the state and a camera? It's total violation of your civil liberties.

The best thing you can do it to avoid trouble, and try to make sure you're never alone and have a camera with you at all times.

  • @JakeDaSnakeFilms , i agree,i hate Wal-Mart or Coctco asking to see my receipt at the door,Couple years ago Costco even tried to search a small backpack i had,i told them you have no right and have boycott these stores to this day !

  • thanks again. It really is almost unbelievable how big that desolate place is. Thanks for the map link, that made it easy to find where you were.

  • @timetrader57 You're welcome. It's huge, bigger than I thought. The raw video was nearly 40 minutes, and I don't think I even covered 1/3 of it. A good part of the roads were just sand, and some were too overgrown to fit my car through.
