Her neck was just made worse and her face looks like it was squeezed!! no no no no no. Bad photoshop manipulation is bad. In order to do such huge modifications, you really need to know much about human anatomy ( or the basics?). As you can see in the end result, the neck is far too long now and the shoulders too wide for a small head like that. The brownish color you had added to create shadows were not blurred enough, making it seem as if the face is really dirty. The hairline in the latter one is too sharp, making it seem as if she's balding. Practice, practice.

That wasn't extreme at all. The original girl was already pretty and you turned her into a doll! A doll that doesn't even look that nice. With a skilled hand and some makeup she could have had the same look without the editing.
