  • Lol natural selection in action

  • It's not the glue traps that kill 'em. It's the Carpenters on repeat play.......

  • It looks like a crucifixion... of glue.

  • You call it hellish. I call it funny.

Funny how PETAfags think they can stop it

  • @ib422000 i totally agree with you! If sparrows are a pest then what are we! Humans want to go invade everywhere and kill all the wild

  • THIS IS HELLISH......!

I can understand roaches being exterminated, but sparrows? In this way?

Humans are truly the intruders in nature.

  • @ib422000 you're an idiot

    a pest is a pest,and a life is a life

ether your against killing or you're for it

as for glue traps, they're cruel if you let the animal suffer(let it die on the trap) dispatch quickly after it's caught

  • @420420KAT

DO you feel better by making personal attacks on someone you don't know? This shows the absence, in you, of any finer feelings or sensitivity towards other sentient beings.

    Sorry for you....

  • @ib422000 if you would have just said the trap is cruel, you wouldn't be an idiot

you acknowledge the necessity in KILLING one living thing in the name of "pest control" and yet demonize it for others

one could argue, that you have an inclination toward racism....but i don't like to play freud on youtube

  • @420420KAT

You were obviously absent when rational thought and reason were being handed out at some point in your life.

Yes, some living things, like mosquitoes, roaches, roaches, rats, all vermin that carry and spread disease need to be exterminated. I did not, however, advocate or espouse prolonged torture in accomplishing that noteworthy goal.

Your pitiful attempt to sneak racism into this is sad. To equate yourself with Freud is hilarious. You are done.

  • @ib422000 i wasn't equating myself to Freud or seriously implying that you're a racist,it was merely a reference to your comment "analyzing me" for calling you an idiot

my point is,you make a douche bag comment like "Humans are truly the intruders in nature" and yet clearly justify "intruding on nature" when it suits YOU,all those things you listed where here before us and will be after.i wasn't defending glue traps used in this manner, just pointing out your hypocrisy.

    "you are done" lol

  • @ib422000

Come back and talk when you can do so without showing your utter lack of class. Relying on 'douchebag' and' idiot' shows that, in a battle of wits, you are unarmed.

Quit while you can....and hopefully use something original as a comeback instead of using my, 'You are done' parting shot.

What part of 'Humans are the real intruders in nature' don't you understand? It's not difficult to understand, but only for those who can read.

You're not an idiot. Just woefully backward.

  • @ib422000 i was mocking your "parting shot" not emulating it ,hence the "lol"

but again you can't seem grasp what I'm saying,i suppose we could agree to disagree, although I'm not entirely sure we "disagree" on anything......

and regarding the "insults" ,it's just my manner of speaking, stop being so sensitive and remember you're on the internet

  • i read this on a shirt PETA P:people E:eat T:tatsy A:animals

  • PETA is you are reading these comments, inhumane my ass, those pest sparrows had it coming.

  • I hate those fucking stubid shitbirds.

  • the sparrow from 2:16 to 2:39 died for the sin of all sparrow in the world

  • @alainaiso No, sir, that sparrow has not commited any sin. He is just being a sparrow, and killing them with glue traps isn't a solution. I find your reasoning ignorant and cruel.

  • that is one of the worst things i have ever saw. some people are evil.

  • poor sparrow...

  • Who the fuck are you? The bird police? What right do you have to kill one species to protect another? You want to do something about sparrows , trap them humanely and release them somewhere else. Glue traps? How would you like it if someone stuck you or your precious blue-birds on one of them? All sparrows should burn in hell? Listen to yourself you fucking hate-monger. You need to go talk to a psyc or someone for you obvious issue's.

  • I'd like to stick u on a glue trap then kick the shit out of you.

  • this is to all the ignorant people that say that this type of bird kills other birds and destroys other bird nest, its a lie!!!!! i d i o t s, mean peole just looking for excuses to let their devil out

  • @oscar5699 are you retarded??? look here on youtube for videos of sparrows killing and taking over nests of bluebird's and other birds. it's not rocket surgery!

  • @oscar5699 are you retarded??? look here on youtube for videos of sparrows killing and taking over nests of bluebird's and other birds. it's not rocket surgery!

  • I hate sparrows. I use the glue traps all of the time. For every one you free, I will kill 5. They kill Martins and so I kill them.

  • @Base877 Indeed, house sparrows are non-native species that are having a severe impact on native cavity nesters. However, sparrows never asked to come to the usa, and killing them in extremely inhumane ways simply isn't a solution. Just as you wouldn't make a purple martin die a slow and horrible way, it shouldn't be so for a house sparrow.

  • @Base877 So on the basis of your reasoning I presume you are also out hunting and killing the domestic cat which apparently kills millions of birds, reptiles and small mammals every year. If not you are an idiot.

  • Also, I bet u suck at singing too, do u have songs on iTunes? Rhapsody? Anything other than videos on ur facebook page? I don't think so, they can sing better than u, at least their songs get them mates so they can have some fun tonight, wat has ur singing ever gotten u? Huh? A punch in the face mayb? I sure would punch u

  • @sacagawea420 , U SUCK!!!! if u think about it, humans cause trouble to animals, like in this video, and like sick people like u, just cuz some animals aren't big enough, and they aren't able to trap us in a crate or glue us to things like this, but think, wat if they were able to do that to us, they were that smart and super huge like our proportion to them, u wouldnt like them doing that to u, or them talking about u like that, so shut up and DONT JUDGE SOMETHING OR SOMEONE UNTIL U HAVE IMAGI

  • whoever did this should rot in hell selfish bastards

  • I hope house sparrows fucking die in hell!!! They aren't even sparrow's to begin with, but some non-native type of Finch that were brought over a long time ago and have since become a PEST and people ARE ALLOWED TO DISCARD OF THESE BIRDS IF THEY ARE CAUSING TROUBLE!!! did all of you crying little babies ever stop to think of all the destruction they do to any other birds nest that they come across??? they kill the whole nest and take it over. On top of that, they have the most annoying song ever

  • who ever did this i hope they fucking die in hell !!!!!!!!!

  • glue traps are evil....what did the poor birds do to the loser who put them up!?!?!?! i feel bad 4 those birds

  • why would someone do that when i got sparrows in my house i just built a trap that caught them in a cage and then i released them how could you be so lazy that you just put that up

  • I feel sorry for these birds stuck on the glue and dieing... whats the value of life these days? when you have to make everything into a commodity..?

  • yea why are they making everything miserable ? sadistic bird trappers

  • Great idea for supermarkets, nothing worse than being shit on by pesty sparrows while food shopping.

  • and I have seen coments calling sparrows sinless birds don't have sins they do what nature forces them to do and that is just do what ever it takes to survive people are the ones with sins and I believe murdering inocent animals without a good reason is a big nono on gods list

  • shooting a helpless sparrow with a bb gun encouraging glue traps what has the world come to at least 1 animal go extinct everyday and man has caused this when I look at a cit I feel sorrow for the world no one realizes the beauty of the planet we were given this planet to grow and prosper on and how do we give thank we treat it like crap like it's just a rock to be crushed by man but it's more the that... It's home

  • Its only cruel if (hypothetically) you got caught in a similar trap and thought that for some reason you were protected, and did not have to follow the same rules of survival that other creatures do. In time, they will evolve to avoid such traps. In a way, we are only making them stronger. If anything, they seem confused, but they will eventually starve.

The real solution would be to introduce predatory birds, but I think we shot most of them in the name of "sport".

  • pests are pests. who gives one fuck.

    get over yoruself.

    no one likes animals 'suffering'

but no one wants them in their houses when they are wild, either

get a fucking grip AND a clue. dont waste time worrying about animals. if you walked upon a lion, do you REALLY think he'd just say OHAITHAR?

christian the lion is the only lion i've seen that way, AND THATS ONLY ONE...

before you start say oh its so mean, how about you look at the HUMAN side of things, or are you too STUPID?

  • these are pests. why feel emotion over a pest? anyone??

  • Silly people who feel bad about this stuff. It's not hard to block emotions we just forgot... Jk I'm not like that

  • Certain sick people have no trouble killing small animals because they can't scream when they're in pain or frightened, so it makes it easy for them. But of course if they themselves or a relative is on their death bed, it's a diffrent story isn't it? Watching this video has made me so glad that i have sparrows happily nesting in my garden with other birds.

  • That's animal tourture it's gonna die without eating or drinking That is cruel I'm gonna call ATA (Animal Torture Association)

  • this is so crual, how do this person sleep at night, and this not a sparrow its normal house bird they come in every summer , i m not happy this bullshit, i hop you feel the same as that bird traped in the glue and you were watching, """"

  • Curse those who set the trap! Human won't do so.

  • How this could be considered humane or not depends one what's happening and what's intended. If they are catching the birds with the glue traps to release them away from the area, then I suppose it's more human than any other alternative involving a glue trap

Before you lot flame me, let me just say that I really don't know precisely how glue traps work, so what I just said before about the releasing of the birds might not be humane anyway

  • this is so sad how can people have no heart and be so evil ! if i knew who this person was i would send him death threats and torture him ! this sad person is sick! what goes around comes around and trust me he will pay for doing this to souch a poor , innocent ,helpless little bird xxxx ANIMAL CRUELTY IKS WRONG ! SAD BASTERD !

  • house sparrows are invasive species

  • @Duvmasta what does invasive species mean ? thanks xx by the way i also think this is so wrong and sad! thew poor sparrow =( please tell me what invasive species means ! xx

  • I tell you I saw this happen once and then I freed it, the pest man put more out and it got a baby snake stuck on it and it was a HIGHLY delicate operation. Not to mention I seen a rat get stuck in them and just pull itself free. These traps are flawed to a fault. PROTIP- lighter fluid will denature and dissolve the adhesive, so will nail polish remover. You can free a bird stuck like that with a bottle of polish remover.

  • Thanks for the idea. I am going to get some of that glue stuff. Thanks.

  • How are the sparrows able to get in, in the first place? The property owner should go around and plug up the gaping holes in his building before resorting to using traps.

  • fack u animal hater i hope u get stuck in a glue trap animal hater

  • Comment removed

  • @austin73268 what the hell does fack mean ? dont you mean fuck?

  • fack u a s s u suck i hope u die

  • lmao that was funny, good video yung you gave me an idea im off to try it

  • they should use these traps in south london for the unruly youth ...

  • I actually enjoyed this, I wish I could get my hands on the damn sparrow that was invading one of my martin nests. It was plucking/pulling the tail feathers off one perticular nestling. The baby martin ended up dieing cause when all the other birds started flying, it just fell to the ground. The parents stuck around for a few days but eventually left it. Id pull every feather off that sparrow alive till it was bald, then id cut each toe off with wire cutters.....

  • this is why America is messed up people like u care to much about stupid shit.

  • They are the worst pest on the planet. Suffer baby, suffer!

  • @MrGigawattz

    preach it man!

  • @buckbuckaroo1 fuck u. all birds should be treated WELL!

  • i feel very sorry to a small lizard or a gecko when it got trapped but a bird?? OMG!!!!... COMPLIAN TO THE OWNER.. THIS IS VERY IN HUMANE!

  • That's real sad you guys. Funny how it's not so sad when it's a dead mouse.

  • what kinnda glue do thay use?

  • @timhemp ya where can you buy these traps?

  • @thegenrl WTF? WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO BUY THESE TRAPS!!!?

  • how much distress are these birds in! this is horrible! id like to stick whoever is responsible for this to the fast lane of the motorway

  • fuck...i dont like this

  • just shows what man is capable of and the lows we sink to, just shows how deep into the last days we are!¬

  • Thats so funny!! They're worst pests than the rats and mice!

  • @BrotherJulien stupid bastard birds are the most sinless creatures

  • That is so sad they should be aressed!!!

  • why doesnt anyone do any thing? seriously? wtf this is sick.

  • thats heart breaking.

  • I hate to see house sparrows die this way. The humane thing to do is to whack the back of their heads near the neck with a dowel rod, to snap their neck and kill them instantly and painlessly.

  • Hi. I posted this video and after reading your response, I just hope everyone knows that it wasn't me who taped it. I'm showing stupid people the harm glue traps do. I would NEVER harm an innocent creacher.

  • wtf why clu a sparrow there dumbass bitch just standing ther and videioing tapeping without taking the sparrow down hobos!

  • lol hobo

  • this is just cruel, what fucking right do you have to do this! hope you rot in hell.

  • this is so fucking cruel... dude u are a fuckin stright up douchbag!!! why the fuck would u do that to those poor birds. let alone tape it! u NEED TO HAVE THE EVER LOVING SHIT BEAT OUT OF U!

  • you are sick...you filmed its death...hope you feel better about yourself mr big man!

  • die you fuck let the birds go stick your dick in trap i hope you crash your car and you and your mom die ass hole

  • why would you want to get rid of those little birds? your sick

  • your just a sick fuck face

  • u are one sick motherfucker!!!i wouldnt evan spit in your direction!

  • sparrow are cute and un dangerous! i wanna cry!! wawa!

  • fuked up shit

  • hahahahaahahahaha !!!!!

  • That is just beyond inhume...too cruel. :(

  • yummmy :)

  • wow that is soooo funny i was lol for sooo long when i saw this omg i did that and then i poked them with a pin it was fun lol!!! <(")

  • are you out of your mother fuck** mind... what about sticking your mamma with a pole and see her die slowly...

  • i'm going to stick YOU onto a pole, and lets see how YOU feel about it.

  • The Trap is very unhuman, the fucking Trap is a great shit i mail it to Peta

  • @Ketenhund I got this clip from Peta! You bunch of dumb asses. Why don't you read the info on the videos you are watching instead of coming to stupid and wrong conclusions!

  • great video I'm going to do the same and when they trap like that , I'm going to shoot them with my bb gun to make shore i don't miss , thank for the idea.

  • This is just fucking sick.

  • oh the poor babies....

    that's awful...

I love sparrows, I think they're so cute, I love watching them.

    Traps like this are horrible.

The very least they could have done was kill them quickly...

  • all i can say is

    poor bird

oh well rats are treated the same anyway.

  • get a life there bird pets rodents now I going to shoot some birds

  • would they not just put the birds out of there torment this is just sick could they just use a cage it would be easier than putting those traps up

  • Poor birdy it not fair bein traped

  • unfortunately, its exactly what they had in mind...

  • this shit is fucked up. this is why these pads are banned in ireland and if they are found on your property you get a guaranteed fine for three thousand euro for each one thats found, and even at that they are only used here to catch mice. to catch birds by using a drug called sleepy bird. you put it amongst food for the birds, they fall asleep within seconds of eating it. they wake up within a few hours in a field somewhere, safe and unharmed. its illegal here too but at least its humain.

  • pest contol get a life peole

  • What kind of glue traps are these? I've never seen them for sale in my local shop. Are they anything like the ones used for cockroaches? Those glue traps are in plastic trays. Those things are very effective; I've accidentally got caught in them and find them hell to remove from my hands or clothing. These are flexible paper rectangles, though.

  • this shit is fucked up..

i love animal its a shame ppl would do this..

  • read the description dumb ass its to get rid of pests like sparrows that might eat the garden..

  • o yes why dont we fuckin torture the birds for EATING! next time u go get a cheeseburger ima glue u to a post and leave u to die

  • maybe they're cheap ass like you so calm down I'm not sayin I do that shit and maybe they don't want to get in trouble with the law if they buy a gun or something which are EXPENSIVE just to quicken their deaths for an extra 200$ or why not just buy glue for 20$. If you want to fuck up the economy some more be my guest but buyin something cheap is helping by savin money and hell maybe if they're fags like you they'd eat them now learn how the real world is instead of something like killing birds

  • This is fucking disgusting to terrorize helpless creatures and get off in a perverted way from seeing it...this is sickl

  • at least they're not shiting on cars

  • they did this one time around my building. but i poured some olive oil on the birds and they got free

  • @Hayabusa2049 your the BEST!!!!!!

  • Who the fuck did this shit? I think I'll kick their fucking asses!

  • what the f man....

  • this is really cruel....they had a slow painful death probably died of starvation

  • do you have downs you should eat those birds for killing them

  • Poor sparrows, they should be taked care properly.

  • Birdlime has been used for ages to catch birds - both for eating and for keeping in cages. Glue traps (I didn't know they existed!) are just an industrialized form of birdlime. The important thing is to CHECK such traps REGULARLY (more than once a day) and either kill or release the birds you catch right away.

  • If you knew what Non-Native Sparrows do to Native Blue birds and Purple Martins, you would "LOVE" this video!

  • Yes, only if you were a sadistic moron who enjoyed watching animals suffer miserably.

  • that is just a really cruel way to get rid of pests!

  • sparrows are becoming extict and this should be illeagal,i'm all for pest control and hunting but this is just nil respect, the animal's suffering,i'd like to see the inventors of this stuff on it and left there to die slowly

  • ok catch them in traps buut go an let them go sum wer else so they bother uda ppl

  • There has to be a better way.

  • Sparrows are cool, Id prefer watching ugly poop machines like Seagulls and Crows suffer.

  • Fucked up.

  • backround music is from 1408 LOLOLOL LMAO

  • what kind of an idiot puts glue traps all the way up there in the first place? its obviously another one of peta's doing. they make animals suffer, then they film it to prove a point. obviously all u idiots believe their bullshit and have decided to become vegans over this. go ahead and mark as spam but u know im right

  • whoever made this video should have either saved or killed these birds they are suffering.

    That is fucked up.

  • You know buddy ... i think people like you are worse than rats, and people who invent or use traps like this! and why to film this suffering bird and why publishing it on youtube? I eat meat / i understand hunting / i grew up on the country side ... but this is totally sick!! ... the sparrow is an out dyeing species ... so stop this shit! and kill yourself! you sick a_hole

  • Buddy, I posted this video to let people know what is happening and hopefully make people aware what these traps do. I didn't make this video. I don't know who did or where it was made. Maybe you should read the description before opening your big mouth and telling me to kill myself, because I hate this too. But no one can stop it if we don't know it's happening, can we?

  • i get you thanks for showing me this not for entertainment but awareness ok.THIS IS ALSO FUCKED UP ILL NEVER SEE THIS AGAIN

  • @fantasyrage Thank you. Now, spread the word, glue traps are wrong!

  • house sparrows are worse than rats and mice. They are an invasive species that should be eradicated whenever possible. Letting a trapped bird go is insane and absolutely irresponsible.

  • It's also irresponsible to let them linger and starve to death in such traps. If you're going to eradicate something, find a more humane way to do it, otherwise you are no better than them.

  • sicko

  • This is fucked up, they could have used cages and taken the birds away and let them go and not kill them. Those birds are going to die. If I lived close to this, I'd take all the birds off put them in a cage and make sure they have food and water for about a week to make sure they are ok then taken them and let them go. Fuck you people that do this.

  • or cap'em in the head and kill em' instantly

  • cunts

  • why did you post this video? What are you trying to achieve? Are you proud of yourself? You could have made this video about 20 seconds long and it would be ok....I hate sparrows....but don't need to see this because it is not teaching me anything.

  • @hogdude1234 I didn't make this video. If I would of seen this happening, I would of been doing something other than filming it. I'm trying to let people know that these traps are inhumane, that's all.

  • @hogdude1234 just think a little before speaking jerkass.

  • I don't like to see animals distressed either but the factory I worked in had birds sitting up there pooping on our work areas spreading God knows what kind of diseases. We resorted to BB guns because they are swift. I suppose even mouse traps might work same as they do on mice. Quick kill is best when you have the option. Most places won't allow BB guns.

  • Are they English Sparrows What state is this in ?

  • this is syupid a person who does this is a son of a bitch, its wrong and should be ilegal

  • I never knew these existed they are so cool this will save me a ton on pellets

  • Hum its cruel to see them like that, i mean they don't cary out deadly desease to humans but It should only be done to mices cuase they carry out desease to us. those poor birds. dam ur cruel man.

  • Why is it not cruel to do this to mice? Don't mice feel pain too?

You shouldn't be calling anyone cruel when you think this is ok to do to mice.

  • I hate comments like this. Your hypocrisy and double standards disgust me.

It shouldn't be done to ANY animal, because it's cruel and torturous. Mice don't deserve to be tortured like this either.

  • Would you rather have these birds dropping shit in your food or on the products you're purchasing? Would you rather get histoplasmosis from breathing in dried bird shit?

  • well you told me "you rather see them drop shit on your food and stuff" But who in their right mind would leave food right open under birds? thats no excuse body its your fault in the first place for leaving food unatended. and lets not forget that the sparrows are just trying to adpat.. since their isn't alot of trees. to perch on.

  • How about histoplasmosis? Do you want histoplasmosis? If you're not familiar with histoplasmosis, the by all means Google histoplasmosis.

  • Stick your histoplasmosis up your arse. Disease is a part of life; adapt to it or die. That means, get treatment if you're sick and ensure preventative measures.

It doesn't give you an excuse to torture birds to death.

  • "preventative measures" include capturing these disease ridden birds via whatever means necessary. This video is all about "preventative measures" so don't be so shallow.

  • "Whatever means necessary" should not include "torture to death". It is wrong, and immoral. There is no excuse for it, none at all. You can remove the birds without having to torture them. That is the entire point.

Maybe people who think this way deserve histoplasmosis.

  • You sir, are a twat. Maybe you'll get histoplasmosis because you're too soft-hearted to keep your area free of birds and bird shit. Good luck, asshole.

  • I have no problems keeping birds out.

I just don't have to resort to ultra-cruel and ultimately ineffective methods. This has got nothing to do with being soft hearted, or the principles of keeping pests out.

This is about the (im)morality of using certain methods that are best left rotting in the annuals of history.

The only way I'd get histoplasmosis is if I'd let them run riot, sniff their shit and eat shit-laced food. Which does not, and will not happen. No glue traps were used.

  • bwahahahaw! "the annuals of history" !!! Thanks for the big laugh. Welcome to the world of comedy where you are the joke that keeps us laughing.

  • Only you it seems.

What's even more laughable is that you couldn't even address the points made. There's no reason to use an inhumane method like a glue trap when there are less messy, less cruel alternatives that work just as well.

Unless, of course, you are a sadist. Are you?

  • Nice insinuation.

You are making drama about something that has no real relevance. There are more important things in the world that you should be campaigning against.

When you have solved the all the other world's problems then maybe we can make an issue out of glue traps and birds.

  • Lovely. Another strawman argument.

Frankly, just because I'm against the use of glue traps on birds doesn't mean I don't give a shit about anything else. Sure there are more important things to worry about, but that's hardly the point. In fact, it is not the subject matter.

Oh please... as if being concerned about multiple things are mutually exclusive. Problems should be solved individually and by their own merits, comparing them to bigger ones is a pointless exercise.

  • Pointless.

  • So because you're saying there are bigger problems in the world, we should ignore all the smaller ones?

    Why?

It is not as simple as focusing on the biggest problem and working your way down. They have to be addressed simultaneously. If a problem is found then it should be fixed, regardless of there being bigger problems because attention will be paid to them anyway.

Perhaps you should ignore all your daily problems because children are starving in Africa?

  • I'm soft hearted enough to be humane about choosing what ways to remove them. I am logical enough to act when they become a problem.

Look at the pain the birds are going through on those traps... is all that pain necessary to solve a problem?

    No.

So I don't know why you're implying that one MUST do it to prevent histoplasmosis.

  • If you don't like watching the poor birds "suffer" then don't watch them while they die.

I don't know why you are wishing for people to get histoplasmosis because they "deserve" it.

    You are myopic.

  • The animals still suffer when it is not necessary. The point here is to minimise the cruelty, even though sometimes we may have to kill them.

Got nothing to do with me or "watching" them. It's the principle of the situation.

Torture is not OK... and those who think it is, deserve histoplasmosis. Or a fate where they feel a fraction of the pain those birds would be feeling.

Your "out of sight, out of mind" approach is ridiculous. It doesn't address the issue at all.

  • It's only an issue if you choose to make it an issue and you have chosen this non-issue to make a case about.

You really should pick your causes a little more carefully.

  • It's not a non-issue. This is a topic of morality. If you don't think it's worthy to discuss, then GTFO and stop wasting time.

You don't know what causes I've picked, one of them is against pointless cruelty. So shove those assumptions up your arse.

  • What about the pointless cruelty of having to read your bleeding heart e-whine?
