Hey 2xl. i am a huge fan of this game! I bought and Ipod touch and an Ipad just for this game! But I'm just wondering... Can you guys update to multiplayer? I would be shocked if you guys actually replied to this comment. Thanks

Looks and sounds like just MCM2, I know that crowd sound all to well :p You guys need to come out with a PC, 360 and PS3 version with a good lobby setup like the zone, nothing since MCM2 and the Zone has came close. BTW this is AUS_Twisted, Robb Rinard probably remembers me from the zone :)

Now, 5 Months later... and online leaderboards are up, but not for 2XL Supercross... just for a game that hasn't been released yet. I am not going to download 2XL ATV... simply because 2XL released 2XL Supercross and forgot about it, what makes me think the new game will be any different?

this game is fun with good graphics but they need more tricks and some outdoor tracks, it would be real cool if they made some kind of of GTA for the touch though

As far as racing games go, this is probably the best on the iPod/iPhone; looks like a console game visually.

No career mode is slightly disappointing, but this is great for showing off the power of your device.

I think you need to check your race sag bro, the rear seams to be riding to low in the stroke and your spring is not returning in time for the next hit. If you \think you can race with the big boys and not hire a mechanic your dreaming punk.

The camera is actually over my shoulder. The hard part was playing while pointing the iTouch at the camera.

The game is for both the iPhone and iPod Touch. It should be out this week!

The first person view seems to actually work pretty good in this game since the whole device tilts and the scenery "tilts" back the view remains constant just like a real view. Really great use of gyro in this game.

The only significant differences between iPhone and iPod touch are that the touch isn't a phone, doesn't have 3G (which only the 3G iPhone has, so 1st gen iPhone doesn't), doesn't have a mic, and the headphone jack is placed differently and a few other little things.

In other words, pretty much anything the phones can do, the touches can do. CPU, GPU, RAM is all pretty much the same, and, hell, the 2nd gen touch actually has a faster clocked CPU. 99.9% of the games can be played on both.

Those aren't shaders, but probably volumetric shadows (there's a difference). And, yes, a "cellphone" (remember, it's iPod touch as well) can, in fact, run games with those kind of graphics. Look up the specs for the platform, look up developer comments, etc. It's quite a bit more powerful than you think (and take a look at the vids for the Dexter game).

You have full control over the bike in the air. You can pitch it forward/back as well as whip it.

In addition you can preload and backflip off the face of the jump.

it looks really good. however the fact that you cant lean forward/backward aside from the brake and gass gyros is REALLY lame.

that takes away like half the gameplay. i was excited about this untill i saw this.

i hope that leaning either wasnt shown in the video or that it hasnt been added yet.

im a huge fan of the mx / mx vs atv games. i still play the original mx unleashed even though i have mx vs atv and the newest one for xbox 360.

The tilt steering works especially good with 2XL Supercross because unlike a car, the bike leans into the turns. It's feels quite natural to play.
