@xAngelxHeavenx I highly doubt that, if you watched from the start of the ep they said that their names correspond to their dreams of how they first began not how they died. Their is no significance or relevance suggesting that their names related to how they died but how they were given a new life as Haibane.

What I've thought is, since all their cacoon dreams relate to dying...maybe they all died and were reborn somehow into haibane...But i guess it's just womens intuition xDD

Couldn't it be that human who got killed or commited suicide became a new life. They are reborn in the age they died and get this time to catch up some time they lost with their death?

but then what about the children surely they didn't commit suicide. i think that they r people or children that had unfortunate lives and they died a sad death and deserved to be reborn.

probably sin-bound haibane are suicides (rakka and reki) and the other haibane were kids who died unfortunate deaths.. they all have a second chance to mature and then leave peacefully.. Without having the feeling that their lives were taken away too fast, as they don't remember anything.

i think that they becoming haibane is like they're second chance to make up for something in their past... like them killing themselves... everybody deserves a second chance and maybe there are more than one town with haibane.
