  • What size brush are you using??

  • your nails must be good for scratching

  • your nails are georgeous!

  • Not sure if already asked, but are primers and the dehydration polish one in the same?

  • What is stronger acrylic or gel nails?

  • do you have to use a nail dehyrator?

  • I love it I'm your number one fan ;)

  • I love all your creations on the nails, they are beautiful! so I ordered all the products needed to do acrylic nails, the Naio Nails are wonderful, very easy to apply I loved it! continue the excellent work that you have done so far, good luck

  • It's not called a metal tool but other than that I love these nails

  • Would you like an apprentice? Lol.. I love doing nails, I'm saving up for an acrylics course atm, I really can't wait to ne qualified :) x

  • Wow! Such a difference from the nail bar we have in our town. They file natural nail with electric drill, don't use the pinching thingy so the nails always look too wide and file off cuticles with the electric drill. The whole thing is a rush production line, only white tips glued on then clear acrylic over the top. One visit put me off . Seeing you work this way has opened my eyes your client doesn't look like they are being burned or hurt! No bleeding cuticles! If I ever give acrylics another

  • im ordering from your site, which acrylic liquid should i get, there are lots of differant types?

  • Can you use a normal top coat instead of the gel one if you don't have a lamp?

  • just finish my acrylic enhancement class...this is such a big help!!! thank you!

  • SHEEEEE'S A GODDDDDESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ur amazing ...i am still going to skool and love watchen ur videos to learn new tec.....

  • I was getting my nails done for over 20 yrs & have never seen that tool that you used to make the nail fit the hand. Because of the products that I think that were inferior or cheaply used, I've taken my nails off because I refuse to pay money anymore & not be happy with the service. You're Wonderful! You're a true PROFESSIONAL!

  • She's amazing!!!!

  • Omg . love this . Very Helpful And And Well Done . thanks Soo Muchh .(:

  • Is it vital to use that powder stuff you put on with the brush, and what does it do? Also, is there an easier thing you could use instead that I could ind at home? -btw I never done this before XD

    Good video so thanks :)

  • I really enjoyed this video but I think it would have been even better if you had been able to not have all the background noise, eliminate the direct natural light behind you and focus the camera more on what you are doing to the nail..when you are saying it. Thank you for the post!

  • what is that pinching tool your using?

  • Great video! Thankyou =)

  • I've been doing my nails for a while now, and I still learned something from this video. Great job being very informative! :]

  • I love how You Showed Everything Step by step .. Amazing(: !! I would love too know where you get your materials from ? Thanks (:

  • No drill needed!!! Yeii

  • Love this! I will learn how to do it from this video! thanks ALOT!

  • U R the best! It looked so simple and quick. You taught me something new. Do they sell the nail squisher at a local beauty supplu store?, i've never heard of this before.

  • Flower in you hair is co cute :)

  • brilliant video, what ratio would you recommend for gliiter? I would like to do a glitter fade using about 2 glitters and I'm not to sure what ratio of the acrylic powder to glitter I should use thanks

  • This is so good! I do a really pretty acrylic nail but they will not stay on. Everytime I have lifting. I am prepping the nail very well and using a dehydrator. Could it be the brand I am using?

  • It is difficult to say why you are having lifting problems without seeing the nails. It can be caused by many factors, inferior products, contaminants on the nail, oils being transferred to the client's nails from your hands, applying on un-removered cuticle that is still attached to the natural nail. If your pretty certain that you've got the prep right, try using nail primer and or using an acrylic liquid which already has the primer in it like our Max adhesion liquid.

  • @naiouk I just wanna say you are an absolutely amazing manicurist firstly, and secondly I got my license just last year and am noticing different techniques to acrylics than I learned in school and working in a salon. It is so much fun and so inspiring to watch each person's style.

  • This lady is a fab trainer/instructor!!! :-D

  • best nail tutorial ive ever found!! thanks so much!!!

  • can you put regular nail polish on top of acryllic nails ?

  • 11:50, my fave nail in the spiky one (the ring finger) I don't like the spike but I like the colors and the design on it. To me, it looks like a magical paradise, hehe :)

  • Hi Brilliant Video, just one question. You use brush on resin to attach the tip. Do you find this better than nail glue?

    Thank you

  • awesome!

  • this broad knows her stuff

  • Hi I was wondering if you had a recommendation for a nail drill for less than 100 dollars? There is alot of them on Amazon for 100 or less, I need one easy to use, and works well, I am trying to learn to do acrylic nails and hopefully start a business in my little town lol, thank you so much, I love your nails by the way! And your video really explains alot :) Oh and if you have any other recommendations of things I should get to start out, I would appreciate the advice :) Thank you!

  • p.s. You are truly talented to be able to work with those long and pointed nails. If I had those nails(and was a woman) and did a client it would probably look like a murder scene afterwards. :oO thanks the videos!

  • awesome info! Been doing acrylics for 12 years and I still learned quite a bit from watching this video. I guess I just got too busy DOING nails instead of continuing to learn. This happens a lot when you work in a salon where they favor speed over quality. What kind of brush are you using or recommend for pink and whites/general acrylics? I've been using 16,18 flat brushes a long while now and was thinking of trying something new.

  • this was so helpful, ver straight forward and simple

  • Dont you put the dehydrator before applying adhesive on the tip?

Also how come you used all 3 colors?

  • Dont you put the dehydrator before applying adhesive on the tip?

  • can you use these well less tips on really short bitten nails? i never use white tips as i always think sculptured look nicer but i struggle to put a form on really short nails, ive tried doing the reverse method where i put pink masque on first to lenghten the nail bed then the white but still cant seem to get them right.

  • fantastic....

  • Instead of putting the nail under the lamp with the gel top coat can you let it air dry

  • do you HAVE to de-hydrate the nails?

  • Good video, Great discription but your camera man could do with some practice. The angles were useless at such crucial times.

  • The pointy nails are not attractive!

  • i've never seen the pinching tool be used when I get my nails done. why exactly is it used for???

  • Hi :) I just wonder if you can make a flower right on the nail, or do you need a fake nail under?

(I hope you understand, I'm from Norway, so my English isn't very good) :)

And do you need anything else then just acrylpowder if you just wanna make a flower sometimes? :)

  • its necessary to use a UV lamp for the nails to dry or we could let them dry by themselves

    ?

  • OMG ! i Loveeeeeee ur nails <3 ;D

  • I love doing my own acrylic nails and your videos have helped me so much!!! I have pretty bad arthritis in my hands, and doing my nails hurts a lot. Are there any tips or tricks to holding the brush or nail file to avoid stress on my hands??? any information would be greatly appreciated!!

  • Hey Gemma! I love what you do!! I have a few questions...what products did you use in this video including the brush and where can I get them! I use NSI products at the moment and I am not all that happy with them! Also, do you offer courses? I want to do some refresher courses as well as advanced! I am down in Dover but would be willing to come to Doncaster! You came down not long ago and did a class with Vicky at Kent School Of Beauty. She is who I learned from. Thanks Gemma! xx

  • I love your tutorial. I really love your nails. They are very pretty.:)

  • I loved the video. I like the way she explained everything step by step, it was very clearly and the nails came out BEAUTIFUL!!! :-) .......VERY PROFESSIONAL....I would definitely recommend beginners to watch this video.

  • well teach! love it....very professional!

  • When doing pink and whites. Does the color of the monomer make a difference? The product that I was using is a dark lavender color and I've noticed that it is much harder to get the right color consistency.

  • I enjoyed your video greatly - I would love to learn to do my own acrylic nails - wish you were in the US ! Wish more girls around here would learn to do nails like you - most I have found are to heavy on the acrylic and are flat ... thus I am stuck with my natural nails ... at least I can do those and nail art ... take care and look forward to watching more of your videos

  • I've been trying to figure out why when I do my own acrylic nails, why the edges begin to lift from my nail after the second day. You

  • was tht monomer or water u dipped the brush into

  • aww your sweet, but it looks like your going to kill some one with those nails O_O

  • Useful tutorial. As a beginner, who needs to see as much as possible, it would be really helpful if the focus is on the nails whilst the tutorial is voiced over. It just felt like I missed some useful manipulation techniques when it panned back to your face. Thanks very much for the vid however.

  • @browningbbw Yes ... I thought the same ... I could kill the camera-(wo)man ... ;)

  • I love your videos! Where did you get your pinching tool?

  • @taurus1980chic Thanks, You can oorder them from the Naio Nails Website naio.co.uk

  • I wish you were my teacher, fantastic tutorial.

  • THanks for the tip on how to apply the acrylic tip witha 45 degree angle. I never knew to do that.

  • You don't work with e-drills? Do You always file by hand? Is that better? I would think it would take longer to do nails by hand.

How long does it take u to do a set of nails?

  • Hi Gemma, great nails. What products do you use? Thanks x

  • Love it!! best acrylic video I've seen, you really explain everything nice and clear

  • hi gemma, what do you mean by shadowing? is that when you file some of the white off?

  • @susany2k5 when do i mention shadowing hun??

  • @gemmalambert hi gemma at 05.35, you say the reason we use clear as well as pink is so we don't get shadowing on the smile line...

  • @susany2k5 oh ok well what i mean is if we pulled the pink over the white you can end up with pink shadows on the white instead of crisp white smile lines. hope this helps xx

  • @gemmalambert yes it does, thankyou! xoxo

  • FANTASTIC !!! Keep up the good work, brilliant !!
