@NANOFORGE They always do that on bleach, make both characters hold back then they just keep transforming or power boosting after a while, also look at how ichigo beat kenpachi in season 2, i thought it was complete bs that ichigo won in his shikai, somehting which he can never seem to do above a lieutenant ranked character. How did he win? Because Kenpachi was the bad guy in that fight so they gave the good guy a "wtf that doesn't make sense" power boost. They did that to Kenpachi with Kendo.
