  • fuck qotsa,THIS IS THE MIGHTY KYUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

  • @percyzeppelin haha

  • Every song is their best song !!!!

  • its got a primus style to it

  • @dadan2000 i hear they suck live (primus)

  • @dadan2000 yeah not a big fan of them (primus)

  • @dadan2000 not at all

  • when the guitar starts improving it reminds me of tony hawks pro skater for some reason. probably cause of that jerry was a race car driver song by primus. they used the instrumental version in the game. I anihilated the shit out of that game with and without cheats. I use to play for joints. then smoke em with the losers cause I'm a nice guy. no way. not my chair not my fuckin problem I always say.

  • Kyuss and Garcia for life !!!!!

  • This is what QotSA's first album would've sounded like with Scott Reeder on bass.

  • @Kelmourne yep

  • @Kelmourne what do you think QOTSA would have turned into if Scott was their permanent bassist?

  • @ConiferTreez i was just thinking of that the other day god theyd have a good groove with him, i always favored Reeder over oliveri

  • @CephalicZyklon

yes for sure. i ve seen reeder in dortmund and it was fucking awesome. seen oliveri before and it never had the vibe deepness and blues like reeder had. reeder is the kyuss bassist.

  • fucking nice instrumental!

  • I really dont know why people think that early QOTSA sound is like Kyuss, is something totally different, is pop-y

  • SOM DE MACHO!

  • early QOSTA sound, very cool

  • @Ombrenuit you mean, early quotsa is kyuss sound?

  • @misovafurka Early QOTSA sound is late Kyuss sound.

  • @misovafurka haha :D

  • @misovafurka what do you want from us?

  • @Bromoteknada what do you mean, man? :S

  • @misovafurka let us live the way WE want

  • @Bromoteknada what's your problem dude? i don't get it. what am i doing to you?

  • @misovafurka you're driving me crazy.I think you should see a pediatrician.

  • @Bromoteknada ok, whatever. go listen to qotsa. whatever you like. why am i driving you crazy? are we starting to throw insults here?

  • @misovafurka ooooh,I'm the one who throws insults...ok.

what do you want me to do?Do you want me to leave america and go to europe so you can be happy? Are you a racist?I thought we were just discussing here, but I guess that this is a racist area.Look,I just like qotsa more than kyuss,ok?Try to understand that before you insult people.

  • @misovafurka qotsa turned into smething very different to kyuss, in my opinion something better, i know what he means

  • @fuckamericanidiot ok, you think qotsa is better. then stop attacking me here. im not forcing you to love kyuss. i was just discussing things with people here. kyuss was before qotsa, so qotsa carries that sund on their first album. then these guy shows up and acuses me for not letting you be. i really dont see the part where i'm attacking you because of liking qotsa better.

  • @misovafurka attacking? haha you're funny

  • @Ombrenuit

    dumb

  • @Ombrenuit

Of course you´re right, this sound is similar to the early Qotsa sound, more than Kyuss. It has nothing to do with this being Kyuss or Queens anyway.

  • mehhh not the best kyuss song i've heard, didn't really go anywhere

  • @fuckamericanidiot it didnt need to

  • Just for the record: Korn isin't even in the same galaxy as the mighty Kyuss. Carry on.

  • I always wished the greatest hits album would have been better. There were very few of their best songs, and it's missing one of their greatest rarities, the Into The Void cover from the Kyuss/QOTSA split EP. Also, why is I'm Not the only song off of Wretch on here? Man, I would have put, like, Hwy 74 or The Law or even Stage III over that song. This album needs Green Machine, Thumb, Thong Song, Supa Scoopa and Mighty Scoop or Space Cadet. Oh well, still good for what you get.

  • @MarshallRoberts yeah, well, the hits album is more like... a rarities album, for all those non album songs.

  • @misovafurka that's the complete opposite of what a greatest hits album means

  • @MarshallRoberts well said believer

  • @MarshallRoberts Yeah, Wretch never gets the credit it deserves.

  • @MarshallRoberts Hwy 74 is fuckin badass

  • So fun to do on the drums. That high hat part is sweet.

  • i think i just blew my neck out to this one, thanks alot, my neck hurts now

  • Oooooh this song...

...I think it likes me! ;)

  • This sounds faintly like Twisted Transister by Korn. Both are amazing songs. lol

  • @TheGorgorothSpire i will pretend i never saw this comment.

  • @yutubecop Dude, the winding of the guitar and the rift. That's the only similar part.

  • @TheGorgorothSpire well... perhaps... but still i dont see much in common in those riffs. and Kyuss is way out of Korn's league. korn maybe is popular, but this is the shit.

  • @misovafurka I agree

  • @TheGorgorothSpire if you want to make that comparison, fine, but this song is wayy earlier than anything KORN ever did so at least be respectful and say they sound like Kyuss - not the other way around.

  • @creepyd444 omg... fine people... over analyze everythign I say and defend your precious band. Korn doesn't even compare to Kyuss for me... I was just saying. It's not a big deal sheesh. You're acting like I said Kyuss stole Korn's music or something

  • Makes you want to groove all over town.

  • you just want it to start all over again

  • Just noticed how much this sounds like early QOTSA, like Mexicola or something. Except a bit heavier

  • @NuclearGuru350

well, maybe. but kyuss is older than qotsa. and most of the stuff qotsa has now they got from kyuss. so the right answer is qotsa sounds like kyuss... or at least used tu sound... a bit.

  • haha don't worry, I know. I just worded that badly, I guess

  • @misovafurka

The first line-up of Queens of The Stone Age was basically Kyuss. There was Josh on the guitar, Nick Oliveri on the bass and Brant on the drums. Josh took over the microphone and they included Dave Catching, but as you can see, it's pretty much the same band.

  • @AlmigthyIsDead brant on drums? lol what the fuck, nick was not even the very first qotsa bassist anyway, and the sound was totally different compared to any Kyuss song.

  • @AlmigthyIsDead Dude no you're wrong, Nick did NOT record with Alfredo and Josh. He toured an appeared on "I was a Teenage Hand Model" but that was only a phone message. The debut was all Alfredo and Josh, thats why its a classic. Quite frankly im glad he didn't write any songs on it because that album is just fine the way it is.

  • sweet baby jesus...this is amazing

  • yeah, dude. Kyuss kickes ass!
