:( Very sad indeed!!!!! I worked on these babies for 30 years with TWA. The L-10 was a great aircraft to not only having the pleasure to work in one, but to fly in one as well. Ah me.......those were the days!

This is worse than watching animal slaughter. I loved the L-1011. Shedding a few tears here. Used to fly with my family on these. Delta Airlines from LAX to Atlanta.

I think the worst part is at :30, her wings are clipped but she looks so beautiful and mighty. Then she is decapitated. Truly painful to watch. Long live the L1011. <3

if this tristar was old enough not to fly safely anymore, they should have been more talented, not to waste one of the beautiest aircraft in the world, but making it to an airport restaurant, or just display it at the front of the airport. The other choice is to sell it cheaply to an african low cost airline :) (sorry for my english if there is any grammar mistake)

A mega-million dollar jet turned into a pile of junk.  That is crazy, I hope whoever owned this jet made at least a half a billion dollars off this jet, other than that, it would have been a waste of money.
