Wow very quick, but Crysis still runs badly because of my darn rubbish 2600XT...

even I read up that a x1900pro is better, I could've got a darn X1950XTX!!! :( GDDR4 on it, though not DX10, but The 2600XT can't run DX10 properly so there's no point it having it, only for movies really...

neither will play crysis on very high. 1gb vmem or not. the rest of your system is good but you need a MUCH faster video card. try something like a GTX260, an HD4870, HD4890 or a GTX275

a 9500GTX doesn't exist. and the 9500GT isn't near enough to run on very high or even medium. you're talking like an nvidia gtx275 or an ati 4870.

But with some lower resolution and no AA.. about 20 FPS..

This was just a system test!

A goodframe rate would be about 30 on Crysis, if you honestly expect to get 40-50 fps without spending £600 on a computer then you obviously spend alot of time on 1998 games and forget that there have been technological advancements in the past decade.

yeah, the 9800 has DDR3 memory but the 8800 has a DDR2 and the clock is faster so faster rendering. It will be better but not much.

Ohh yes... thats very low.

On these settings, when I have ALL the settings maxed out, the fps average is about 10. remeber that I play in full resolution and 4-8 AA.

When I play this game, I dont use these settings. I have everything on very high, but I use a lower resolution, and lower AA, and in that way it doesnt lag at all, and the fps is better.

I had to convert the video if I wanted to upload it on youtube. I probably used the wrong format. And yes I had some lags... When I play on full screen resolution with 8x anti-aliasing and all settings on very High I will get some laggs, even with 8800GTX.

With thoose specs I think u would be able to play on High with pretty high resolution as well... If u want to play on very high with that 8800gt card, u will have to play on low resolution if u don want any lags.
