We can reflect back on Obama's claims.

Under his plan, the Bush Tax "Cuts" would have the poorer American's paying 15% income tax, instead of Bush's 0% to 10%.

Add to that, higher energy prices [Cap and Trade taxes].

Add to that, higher food prices [costs passed from farmers to consumers because of Cap and Trade].

Add to that, costs passed to consumers from business owners forced to provide insurance.

Add to that, citizened forced to purchase health insurance.

Who benefits? Not us !!

Medicare spends 3 cents per dollar in overhead. Open Medicare up to everyone, the wider pool will lower costs.

Healthcare is not a business like Walmart -- when people need services they can't shop around. It's the same reason utilities, fire and police are public services.

Health Insurance companies are public companies controlled by stock holders. They have to profit and they'll charge whatever you'll pay. If you open a Koolaid stand and charge $100.00 a glass and people still buy it, would you stop selling it? But if every kid on the block opened a Koolaid stand, it would start a price war and prices would drop. It's exactly like WalMart.

When you DESTROY the middle class, then there is no one to tax. lol. Cap and Trade will destroy the middle class. Cap and Trade will make the middle class into poor, and make the poor even more poor. Obama said 100,000 jobs will be created from "Go Green". Most top economists says that Cap and Trade will get RID of 2.5 MILLION jobs a year. The other economists say that it will be more jobs than that, and America wouldn't have any industries in a couple of years. Obama is a joke.
